Yellow and dying leaves. Please Help!

  1. 1 gallon jugs looks a little sus. Lol.

Yes sure does. That what gave me away once with my neighbor. He knew. But so far so good that was a few years ago.
FFOF is more consistent 2024 ,I read awhile back or maybe I have that backwards too lol. Definitely have to know where your starting from with any soil , good call.
Coco and Jacks pretty much takes the guesswork out of the mix. I can mess things up real quick in soil.

I emailed Foxfarms and let them know they are no longer being recommended here in the forum and I for one personaly had to switch due to various issues with their products. High ppm’s and low pH out of the bag and the last bag I opened which was also the last bag I bought was completely infested with bugs, came back at 5.2 on the slurry test.

I picked it in the beginning because it was like iconic back in the day and they were a go to for nutrients, as well as the original AN. Always considered a premium soil until I used it. I still see some killer grows with it and am happy that some get lucky. Overall though something is off somewhere.

Yup, I now use Coco/Perlite and the AN Trio with B-52 and still keep it as simple as possible. Not sure why it took me so many grows and so many years to even try coco. I am hooked and love it. Once I figured out how it was different from soil, I been on cruise control since and blemishes and issues are non existent now. Need to give props to @Borderryan22. He got me going on the Coco.

I can’t really knock Fox Farms soil. I probably get booed of the fourm lol.
I completely a few grows with it and I was satisfied. But I also messed up a few grows with it. I was never big on there nutrients , I used a few but I never bought everything they list on there feed Schedule , to costly for one.
High PPM low PH out of the bag is fine with me to I normally check it so I know where I stand. Water only the first few weeks for the most part ,dose it with some microbes a little tweak here and there then transplant, water only again few week , same deal add some tweaks with some good organic dry nutrients veg like a 4-8-4 , worm castings, tea once in awhile Veg it out about 7 weeks top dress with the 4-8-4 and a dry organic like a 2-8-4 flip after a few weeks into flower in stretch top dress with the 2-8-4 few tweaks along the way and then

Walla. Give or take. LOL
This is about 50% FFOF

Luckily the FF Coco Loco has stayed consistent for me over the last 5 years, my go to when I’m not running coco :love_you_gesture:

Coco Loco is probably one of their better and lighter mixes. I’ve had nothing but problems with happy frog. Was coming in hotter than ocean forest. Super inconsistent and poor quality control. I know “batches” can vary, but to vary by thousands of ppms is crazy.

Yep, HAppy Frog was my first and a nightmare to manage. Coast of Maine hands down is the best soil medium I’ve found :love_you_gesture:
