So if I go by their feeding schedule and amounts of part A&B (4mill of each per Liter) I usually get about 600-640ppm in. I do have some nice buds going though.
This is the first time i have seen you here and the first time that you have taged me. But that’s ok
I noticed on your first 3 pictures nutrient burn.
Stop using the Grow. When your plants are in flower they want less nitrogen
So for the next week or so water only and soak good to. It’s like doing a flush.
After that and things get better start feeding a 1/2 strength
@garrigan62 I actually tagged you about 12 post ago in this thread. But thats ok. It’s all good bud. (pun intended) You’re a very busy person here on this site and I just figured you’re overwhelmed with tags. I have been here since July 8 2017. I’ve been using ILGM seeds since then.
Anyhoo, Thank you for stopping into my thread and helping!!! It’s very much appreciated. I stopped using grow about 4 weeks ago. I have been using the bloom. I did however use a little grow, 1/2 strength to correct what we thought was a nitrogen def. I do have some A. N. Flawless Finish should I use that? Or, would it be best to just use ph’d water as you suggested?
Yes they keep me very busy. I not only work this forum but three others so ya work, work , work lol
Any I’m very sorry I had missed that and ya I looked you up and saw when you joined.
No don’t use that till the end just stay with the P H water. What the plants have is very mild at this point and you should be able to cure that in no time. Catching it in time is half the battle

Will
N to piggyback here. Deficiencies show in the leaves usually. Some type of discoloration or fading, wtc. U dont seem to be having any. And the ladies look fantastic.
@garrigan62 @PurpNGold74 the yellowing in the leaves seems to be getting worse. My ph was 6.5 and my TDS was at 450 2 days ago when I watered with plain ph water. I havn’t watered today yet. Waiting for some more input.
Magnesium (Mg ) This is the proble it’s veryt clear now what it is and it’s very simple to fit
One tsp spoon of EPSON SALT to a gal of water you will see results with in a week.
THESE PI’S I POST LOOK JUST LIKE YOUR’S , YOU ALMOST CAN’T TELL THE DIFFERENT
Magnesium (Mg) - Micronutrient and Mobile Element
Magnesium helps supports healthy veins while keeping a healthy
leaf production and its
structure. Magnesium is significant for chlorophyll-production
and enzyme break downs.
Magnesium which must be present in relatively large quantities
for the plant to survive,
but yet not to much to where it will cause the plant to show a toxicity.
Magnesium is one of the easiest deficiencies to tell… the green veins
along with the
yellowness of the entire surrounding leave is a dead giveaway, but
sometimes that’s not
always the case here. In case you have one of those where it doesn’t
show the green veins,
sometimes leaf tips and edges may discolor and curl upward. The growing
tips can turn lime
green when the deficiency progresses to the top of the plant. The edges
will feel like dry
and crispy and usually affects the lower leaves in younger plants, then
will affect the
middle to upper half when it gets older, but It can also happen on older
leaves as well.
The deficiency will start at the tip then will take over the entire outer
left and right
sides of the leaves. The inner part will be yellow and or brownish in color,
followed by
leaves falling without withering. The tips can also twist and turn as well
as curving
upwards as if you curl your tongues.
Excessive levels of magnesium in your plants will exhibit a buildup of toxic
salts that
will kill the leaves and lock out other nutrients like Calcium (Ca). Mg can
get locked
out by having too much Calcium, Chlorine or ammonium in your soil/water.
One of the worst problems a person can have is a magnesium def caused by
a ph lockout.
By giving it more magnesium to cure the problem when you are thinking you
are doing good,
but actually you are doing more harm then good. When the plants can’t
take in a nutrient
because of the ph being off for that element, the plant will not absorb
it but it will be
in the soil… therefore causing a buildup. A buildup will be noticed by
the outer parts of
the plant becoming whitish and or a yellowish color. The tips and part
way in on the inner
leaves will die and feel like glass. Parts affected by Magnesium deficiency
are: space
between the veins (Interveinal) of older leaves; may begin around interior perimeter of leaf.
Problems with Magnesium being locked out by PH troubles
Light Acid Soils, soils with excessive potassium, calcium and or phosphorus
Soil
Magnesium gets locked out of soil growing at ph levels of 2.0-6.4
Magnesium is absorbed best in soil at a ph level of 6.5-9.1 . (Wouldn’t
recommend having a
ph of over 7.0 in soil) anything out of the ranges listed will contribute
to a Magnesium
deficiency.
Hydro and Soil less Mediums
Magnesium gets locked out of Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels
of 2.0-5.7
Magnesium is absorbed best in Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels
of 5.8-9.1
(Wouldn’t recommend having a ph over 6.5 in hydro and soil less mediums.)
Best range for
hydro and soil less mediums is 5.0 to 6.0. Anything out of the ranges
listed will contribute
to a Magnesium deficiency.
Solution to fixing a Magnesium deficiency
Any Chemical/Organic nutrients that have Magnesium in them will fix a
Magnesium deficiency.
(Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients or it will c
ause nutrient burn!)
Other nutrients that have magnesium in them are: Epsom salts, which is
fast absorption.
Dolomite lime and or garden lime (same thing just called different)
which is slow absorption.
Sulfate of Potash, Magnesia which is medium absorption. Worm Castings,
which is slow absorption.
Crabshell which is slow absorption. Earth Juice Mircoblast, which is
fast acting. (a must buy!!
Has lots of 2ndary nutrients).
Now if you added to much chemical nutrients and or organics,( which is
hard to burn your plants
when using organics) You need to Flush the soil with plain water.
You need to use 2 times as
much water as the size of the pot, for example: If you have a 5 gallon
pot and need to flush
it, you need to use 10 gallons of water to rinse out the soil good enough
to get rid of excessive
nutrients.
@garrigan62 So, I should use Epson salt and not CalMag? And should I not feed her still? If I am reading right I should have my ph higher than 6.5 but not 7.0 or over. Is that right? I also see that Earth Juice Microblast is an option. I have some of that as well. Sorry if I am overloading you with questions. She is so close to being one of my best plants ever.
Thank you so much for putting up with me. Even though I have 3 years experience growing, I am still old and slow.
No worries my friend. You can ask all the questions you want. It don’t bother me one bit.
No use nothing. Just the epson fpor now …ok ?
Excellent. Will do that. Thank you.
@garrigan62 Blueberry was looking worse today than yesterday. I think I found the very root of the problem. I was getting some wacky reading from my ph meter today. Every time I checked my run off I was getting a different reading even after calibration. So I changed out the batteries, re-calibrated and found my ph was in the 6.1-6.2 area. Not good since I was probably locking out the mag at such a low ph. I flushed several time to get it back up into the 6.6 area. I don’t know if it was the right thing to do but I put some Epsom salt in the last gal of flush. Thoughts?
If you have a magnesium deficiency, then you did exactly the right thing.
Ya ok we’re finding out new things here as we move along.
That was good then. Now next time you water her put some Epson salt in there and you should start see a difference in about a week. Just remember she needs time to recover … ok ?
Ok my friend. I will be patient.
Those two are definitely who u want on the case. Hate to hear ur still fighting but those pH meters get wonky sometimes. Stay diligent. Ull get her thru it
She’s having a tough time. It’s like have a child with the flu ffs. I hate to see her sick like this.
She will pull man. Be that parent she needs n loves n i bet ur gonna love her rewards
Day 64
My sick baby Blue. She does have some nice buds. Hoping I caught her in time.
Jack Herrer is also showing some of the same symptoms but not as bad. And his buds look amazing as well. I am still going to give him the same treatment. Because his ph was off as well.
I watered again today. About a gallon and a half to get a good run off. I used 1tsp of Epsom salts per gallon and water in was 7.1ph. Run off was still around 6.4 - 6.5. I’m still not happy with that ph. I ordered up some ph up to try and get it higher. It should be here by the next time I water. ppm in was 470 and ppm out was 760. So my guess she’s not eating well just yet.
