Will the male pollen in the near distance will affect my fem plants?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

“We started the seeds in greenhouse, for later transplanting outdoors. We have some feminized seeds. We used to make hash with it. These season I want to try making buds instead of hash. I wonder if we can get buds without seeds. Because in the area where I grow, a lot of people grow regular seeds. I am afraid that the male pollen in the near distance will affect my fem plants. Do you have an idea about this?”

I believe that male pollen can travel miles if not taken care of right so IMO I believe yes your female plant can still be pollinated from possible male seeds in some distance or miles but I’m not sure completely maybe someone else can chime in on this.

I agree. I just harvested one of my plants with a dozen random seeds started all over the plant. Had to have been pollinated from upwind.

I’d say the male will most definately pollinate your fem plants if the male pollen can reach them. They’re feminized sure but they still develop pollen catching pistils and want to reproduce.
