Wow, 10-20 tap water? Lucky bastard.
If using tap water, you may not see mag or calcium def
. Be sure to aerate if it’s municipal water with chlorine.
Be sure to not only measure runoff pH but also ppms/tds

When you mix your solution, decide on what your feed will be, mix to desired EC or PPM and make sure you stir the crap out of it for each part! Very important! Then after you have mixed check your ph. Always check ph after you mix. If you have to ph down or up, you can always check EC again but its normally not required.
Do you think I should let them dry out more and wait longer to give them water?
Are purple stem leaves a sign of mag def?
Just wait for the plant to feed, let the plant tell you when its hungry. After a while you will begin to tell by looking. The tops wont look quite as perky in the light.
Not necessarily, some plants have them naturally. As long as the plant looks healthy and is growing happily, there is nothing to fix.
@Dabmon710 All Great advice above^^^ May I add and revert back to what I feel is more important than the feeding. I suggest you get that exhaust installed correctly first and foremost because if your tent environment is not under control i.e. exhaust for proper air exchange ,lights, RH and temps you will have issues for sure. What size is your tent and what size exhaust do you have? Do you have fan’s inside the tent moving the air around? Can you afford a better light? If you plan to use a charcoal filter to cover smell you definitely need to get get these dialed in quick since you have already triggered flowering with the longer dark cycle. You will more than likely need to invest in a Dehumidifier to control the RH in later flowering for sure and that all starts with getting your environment dialed in. Let me know if you need help with this. Good Luck!
I currently can’t afford a better light. What light do you recommend. I have a vivosun 6inch exhaust can push I believe 400 cfms. Yes I have a fan on the top blowing on the lights to cool them down a bit and a oscillating fan on the girls to get them there air exchange. I will be getting a de humidifier as well. Any suggestions on that? Also what other ways can I help keep the smell down besides just a exhaust fan with the carbon filter.
I have the same exhaust and i use it for my 1000w HPS with air cooled hood but general rule of thumb on exhaust is to pull not push air. those bottom vents on the tent will allow fresh air in while the fan is exhausting it out so you have good air exchange even with the tent closed. I think if you set up your exhaust to pull air in through those vents and out ducting to outside or another room you would be good with that and you can put your carbon scrubber on the end of where you exhaust it to which will eliminate the fragrance.
Sounds good brother. That’s what I will do .
