Why are my leaves on the bottom so droopy? The plant

Thank you so much for your help, now what should I do to solve this issue with the droopy leaves is it magnesium deficiency or is it that they go too much nitrogen and are clawing?

Hell yeah!!! I’ve been trying to give them love.

I don’t know how they’d have too much N. Since it’s happy frog and just big bloom @ almost 3 months.

You need to work on the rh. 60% -70% is fine right now. In another month or so you’re going to want to keep it under 45% or risk bud rot, (especially at lights out).

I’m not seeing a mag def.
what water are you using?
Do you water slowly, and to runoff?

That’s why I like a full plant pic.
Tbh, they do look pretty good. A minor bit of clawing.

But newer growth looks good.

I wouldn’t stress over much. But of course, always keep an eye on it. Especially when you start adding the other “not so soil friendly” fox farms nutes.

Also, since you arent in coco, you can allow the plants to use up the water more. Dont try to keep them wet. Treat them sorta like garden soil and tomatoes. They need dry and wet. In coco they need to be moist all the time.

Depends on the grow.
Synthetic nutes like fox farm seem to do well with wet/dry. Organic soil-food- web grows are best when properly moist.

Thats what hes using sythetics right? Or am I missing something else? Im old :sleepy: and so its very possible Im on a different page lolmynplants are 11 feet tall and only need water once a week or so. Thenonly nutes they are getting now are kelp and seaweed exract.

The big bloom is an awesome product. OMRI rated. At this stage his bacteria/fungi are probably pretty happy. The constant watering might be just right.
When the grow switches to the other synthetic ff bottle nutes, especially the “tiger bloom”, the healthy biome will cease and attention must be paid to salt buildup, watering, and flushing.

Sprouted seed teas are also good during veg. Lots of auxins.

Sounds like a happy community.

Yeah, but it sounds like he has started flowering already, the plants have been growing longer than 6 weeks right? So he should be using nutes at this stage yes? So the organics is about to get a shit kicking.

Yeah Ive got very healthy soil, made from a cottonwood bog. Lots of organic matter. I use compost and earth worms too. I have used comphry and other teas as well, but this grow is clover, hay, worms and seaweed/ kelp extract. Seems to work nicely. Next year, the plants go to another bed and vegetables will be grown there.

Well… I don’t want to confuse the grow.

The grow big and tiger bloom will mess things up. At this point there’s no use for the grow big. Plants look N heavy, so why add more, especially when it’s synthetic.

The tiger bloom… it’ll knock the balance off, but one can switch to synthetic anytime. One can’t go back easily though, once you’ve knocked out the bacteria and fungi.

@Cannabian your grow looks amazingly happy. You’re killing it. If you want to mess it up, drop some grow big in your soil :rofl::joy::rofl::rofl:

@Dabmon710 don’t be discouraged. Your plants look good. Fox farms nutes have grown millions of pounds of dank weed.

I don’t even know what a mag def is so no lol. I will look it up and get one.

Yeah thats for sure, he is in flower now so N is not as important. The flowering nutes will still bomb the shit out of any biome in the mix though. Its to be expected. I go from supersoil / promix, essentially the same as Fox Farms to transplant into native soil. I dont use bottled nutes in my soil grows only hydro.

If you start seeing this…

That’s magnesium deficiency.

It’s easily fixed and very common with RO/distilled or rain water.
Add some pure Epsom salts to you watering. IF you see it. I

Thank you very much both of you this has been very informative. I mean I don’t care I’ll get other nutrients. I just want your recommendation on really what you think the best mix is. should I just continue to just give them regular 6.5 pH water with no nutrients until they grow a little bit more? Also I didn’t realize tiger bloom and grow big we’re like that. One of the thing do you think I should transplant them into a bigger pot are currently in 5 gallons I’ve been told I might want to move to seven or 10. Is this information correct?

Finish this grow with what you have. Fox farms nutes work. There are many stages of cannabis cultivation. Stick to the basics. The improvements are incremental.

Pay attention to the flush schedule.
5 gal cloth pots will be fine. I use 7 gal, but that’s me.

OK I see that magnesium deficiency. Lol don’t know the lingo yet. Mag def. Also I feed them tapwater was ppm at around 10 to 20 but when I put in the pH down solution it probably add’s a little bit more ppm.
