I am glad @MeEasy rode in with solid advice based on a lot of experience and knowledge.
I am a far cry from living soils and organic growing. I’m on the dark side using Jack’s and growing in coco. I am big believer in staying in one’s lane.
Ps my first grow using coco and Jack’s was Purple Kush. I encountered a similar situation with it seven + weeks into flower
I recognized the first signs around day 52
Being the first time user of Jack’s and coco I let it ride. Now, having gained some experience using both, it would have been a relatively easy fix. What do they say about 20/20 vision. The good news it did make it to harvest. The plant wasn’t a pretty as it could have been and maybe a little less flower, but overall it was a good grow and harvest.
Like I said, not the prettiest thing when it came time to cut it a month later.
FYI When I got my grow tent kit it came with fox farm ocean and a bag of “cali super soil”. I put the Cali super soil in bottom half of only one plant and it is obvious. Other than using a fabric bag all other variables the same. Not sure if the pic represents well but it’s the one in the back right and the other is back left.
Any experience with the “super soil” before? I’m think of ordering another bag for my clones!
Using Earth Dust makes your soil a super soil you feed as you go into flower if you go with dust next grow and use the same soil it will be better than this time because it has all this time to break down the organic material then you add back the rich amendments, those bags of super soil are just that a little more mature living soil. That’s the best way I know to explain the difference in the products
