Awesome. I made many mistakes with my veggie garden this year learning container gardening. My herbs and others got mobbed by the watermelon vines from hades. I’m not going to make that mistake again 
We had a bad few months here. Constant rain and clouds for weeks, followed by 90+ heat with no rain, the only thing that survived was some herbs I had established from last year. And strawberries, also from last year.
Yep. The weather here didn’t help but it wasn’t as bad here as for some. This years container veggie garden was an experiment. I “think” I have figured out what to do do differently next spring.
I got fed up and chopped down my tomatoes, bastards started coming back - just to spite me! I let it go because there are some strawberry runners that took root in that pot. That is a lonely Meyer’s lemon in the background.

I am going to knock back my watering schedule. She has seemed to look a little worse on watering day for some reason. I am going to just skip a day, and water 3 days a week (like tue thu sat) and see how she looks after the 2 day break.
Spent the day at my Alma-mater, My girls soccer team played to a tie, the volleyball team won
and the football game was close at halftime (winning 10-7) But I left after the 3rd quarter with us comfortably ahead 45-7.
