When majority of those pistols recede back and hug the bud you should be good to go. The more scientific approach is to get up close and personal with the trichomes under a scope or jewelers loop. Not leaves though, the actual bud. Mostly cloudy is peak thc, when they start to go amber they are degrading into cbn. Stay away from clear. Clear is immature and racy. Plant matures at different rates from top to bottom. Partial harvests are good for business.
