Super happy with this run of my two ILGM white widow. I planted at the edge if the 7 gal bag let them stretch a bit young and then bent them over while still bendy then just wired the limbs out a bit. Did a flush today will harvest Saturday morning. Normally I just water last week but i fed heavy last 2 weeks.
Can’t be certain from the photos but it appears that you have several weeks to go before they will be ready to chop. The buds will get much denser, the pistils will turn red/brown and recede. Check that the trichomes are cloudy with 10 percent or so amber. Use a jeweler’s loupe or digital microscope.
This is a white widow that I chopped about two weeks ago:
The white widow plants are on the left in this shot:
I will get about a pound from each plant when dried and cured.
Your plants look great!
Nope at 9weeks now and 15% amber right in the sweet spot
trichomes? Not pistils. From the photo it appears that there are many white pistils. Not really close enough to tell for sure.
It is your call. Many newer growers chop weeks too soon.
Harvesting by weeks in flower is not the best way to determine.
Yes I know what to look for. Could I go another week possibly two sure. But I harvest for max THC and not weight. Saturday would be start of week 10.
Looking good!
Awesome grow my friend congratulations
