Sounds good @Hammer didn’t use rockwool cubes because I already had soil and didn’t want to buy something new.

Being fluorescent lights, you should be able to go with the back of the hand method.

Ok guys here are the girls that red membrane on the end is what keeps getting stuck on these guys keep having to pull it off with tweezers.

Only 6/7 made it so going to do 3 in farm and 2in buckets 1 in soil. Really happy with bio root added it to the germ soil and these girls popped quick.

Ok so got everything hooked to 1 timer. like the way everything looks hope it produces some quality buds like last grow.

This is what’s going on the ladies are in veg lights from 900 and under full from 300

I think in hindsight should have went with a 50/50 mix of perlite and vermiculite to germ seeds in since i had that on hand. Oh well no turning back now going to transplant at about 3sets of true leave’s.

Going with a 3:1 ratio of 6400k to 3000k for veg and for bloom I will make it a 50:50 split.

Thanks Bryan I will try that out never used fluorescent lights before so thanks for your advice.

So around this close or closer is what everyone seems to be recommending so I will give it a shot can’t wait until they are ready for transplant

4-6 inches is perfect with T-5’s , but you will love it on how fast it veggies plants , plus you in hydro so they gone grow super fast , but just keep adjusting your light to 4-8 inches as they grow .

So how high should the water level be for seedlings guys is this ok or should it be lower @Hammer @ktreez420

Lower I think , I drowned my seedling from having the water to high . I think you need space between your water level and net pot like 1-2 inch gap .

Thanks @yoshi you keep surprising me I thought you were just a soil guy.

Ok yoshi how does this look.

Just a tab bit lower and you should be good to go . I know how to grow hydroponically , just never actually made the decision to give it a try again . But I’ve grown in coco coir several grows which is almost the same as hydro except the water and air basically , but PH and E.C and PPM is all the same . I’ll get done one of these grows I guess , I have the same water farms you have by General hydroponic with the drip feed ring , but don’t have the time to monitor it sometimes , and if the ph swings cause of water Temperture or humidity gets out of sink , than it can cause many headaches being hydro is unforgiving , it’s no buffer it likes feeding straight through the plants veins almost , so after my first mistake of drowning my seedling I never tried it again .

Ok gonna drain it and clean it one more time now that I have the water level right. So if I use hydroguard I can’t use peroxide it’s one or the other right. Also with peroxide I probably won’t be able to use MP. Looks like I won’t be adding peroxide I will soak the roots in a 3% solution like hammer said before putting in net cups.

This the part I don’t know yet from lack of experience , and why I didn’t try again cause I have so much invested in soil , I didn’t want to put out more hundreds on H202 , perioxide , Hydroguard , Liquid Karma and other additives to keeping the roots healthy , but once I get through soil and all what I’ve bought already , before I restock I’ll consider the Hydro thing and give it another chance .
