When you go into flowering mode do you keep your veg lights & flowering lights on or just flowering lights? We have the led spectrum lights.

Either way works. I would check with the light manufacturer to see what they suggest. Just make sure that they go into flower after the switch because mine went into super veg mode under both lights until I realized my plant needed a longer dark period to initiate the flowering process. I have my lights on bloom only right now and they are doing great under my 3 600w philzon LEDs.
And as just a little side note when you’re ready to go in flower use the 12/12 light cycle. I believe that’s kind of a rule of thumb. Good luck and enjoy your grow.
Not if you’re doing autoflowers, no change in schedule is generally needed then.
True! That’s a good point. They start when they want to start from my understanding.
Some lights come with a veg mode switch and a flower mode switch . I run both lights on through the entire grow . I hope that answers your question .
I also run both through entire grow. I am very happy with yield. Good luck finishing.
If you look up the absorption spectrum for chlorophyll, you will see big peaks in the blue and in the red. These correspond to a blurple light with a veg switch and a flower switch, but there is no reason for a plant to only absorb light in either the blue or red depending on the activity. If you want the plants to get the most light possible, turn on both. If you want to save some money. switch on only the veg during veg time. Plants will do okay with less light during veg. For flower, I would run both. You want maximum metabolic activity to make the most resin it can.
Ok both cause im wonder myself if I should do stay on both lights or just bloom light.
@Queensly After your plant has 4 or 5 full Sets of leafs turn both switches on veg an bloom . If you’re already in flowering stage you definitely need both switches on.
Good luck
You don’t switch at all to the bloom only?
After the first couple weeks I run everything at full blast all the time
Welcome Popsmith . my lights that have both veg and bloom switches are both on all the time starting when the plants have their second or third set of leaves . Just be aware that running both veg and bloom will create a little more heat from the light . Circulate and monitor your air temperature with fans .
Thank you @Seeddog
How far away from the plant should the light be?
