A controller like a AC infinity t series helps you set humidty and temp. Maxes to which the exhaust fan will vent and keoe your room ideal.
Or you can purchase an inkbird but it will only power one value at a time, temp or humidity.
I do this in my 2nd tent running my humidifier which controls its self on the humidity side and meanwhile the fan is powered by a temp. Controller that kicks on when its to warm
Blast inf my lights to ensure good warm environment and thus lots of exhausting and fresh air circulation happens is ideal.
If you have a decent humidfior then you cna just get a temp controller for your current fan, your humidifier should shut off when it reaches X humidty.
I just received my carbon filter and controller 67 from AC Infinity. That controller should help me temps when lights come on and heat starts going up.
That AC Infinity controller 67 is a game changer for me. It’s nice not having to run to the basement all the time! My only wish is that it would connect to wifi so I could monitor when I’m not home.
Mine is also a 3x3 but a 3x4 because it has an extra 1x4 space I didn’t put the wall in and I store my carbon filter and humidifier in that space. Sooo nice.
@yourviolentpast they had the tech to do it but of course will do that next version lol
I ripped my old one apart by drilling out the rivets and I washed the carbon but of course some was spent. So now I don’t have a full carbon filter.
I’m gonna do the same for these two and get some self tapping metal screws. Once I wash these two I’m using out I’ll buy a bag of carbon and give it a go.
I have an old tent and old filter Incase I need to dry… But I Geuss I’ll need a new AC infinity fan when I plan to use it! Lol
Yeah the waste is brutal they should make the lid screw off of just the screws screw out.
There is a fine mesh in there that you can’t really add it back in so that’s a pain I hope. It works fine without it I don’t see why it wouldn’t. More of a prevent ceabon from falling through the aluminum mesh I think.
I have that one printed out…but I don’t follow it much. I’m close to where the chart recommends but I don’t stress over it. I’m still trying to get a handle on my new grow area. Warmer weather is here, will be installing a carbon filter tonight, etc. changes everything. What I really need is a window unit AC that is wifi…then my life would be easier. lol
Ever since my move to coco and using mesh pots, which upped the humidity in my tents by a good margin, I’m actually in the sweet spot of VPD without even trying, no humidifiers.
