What’s the Best Strain You’ve Ever Smoked?

What’s the one strain that genuinely stood out to you?

Not just “pretty good” — the one you still think about. The flavor, the effect, the way it hit, the overall experience.

Drop the strain name and what made it different. Curious to see if the same classics show up or if there are some unexpected picks in here.

I’ll start below.

For me it seems to be Chemdawg. A lot of it may have been set & setting. But I just had such a carefree and relaxed time on it. Endless giggles, and just that perfect floating on a cloud feeling. Can anyone relate? Or was there a particular strain that did this for you? Anyone has some grow experience with Chemdawg that they’d like to share?

For me, ILGM Super Silver Haze stands out. It has been easy to grow with excellent yields. The buzz is uplifting and the flavors are incredible. I use a dry flower vape.

I think about a few times a month and haven’t had any ‘05-06 :green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

Tasted just like a stick of the gum and long lasting day time high

Skywalker OG. From a friend many moons ago. Grew some from ILGM and was not disappointed.

Ilgm’s Banana Kush.
Great yield and really potent stuff. It was the first time I could really tasted the “bananas” in the name.

Aficionado’s Cherry Noir.
That one was a favorite for a while. Fresh taste, reminding me of Vicks Lozenges and a really nice buzz
Equally good on the body and mind :cherries:

LOL I tend to agree with @SausageMahoney, it often seems that whatever strain I put into my vape is my favorite of the moment.

The best strain over the last 52 years? (has it really been that long? :laughing: ) Man, that’s a hard question. That’d have to be back when the only strain names I knew were Red Bud Columbian, Mexican, Acapulco Gold, and Michuacan (sp) I’d have to say it was a $45 dollar tie stick in the year of our nation’s Bicentennial when the most anyone around me had ever paid for a tie stick was 15 bucks. It was incredible.

I seem to always come back to ilgm’s Wedding Cake every few grows. Very good yields, very easy to train indoors, very sturdy plant to grow outdoors…ive watched a 7 ft plant bend over at a 90 degree angle in high winds and it was just fine. Smells like a fresh cake out of the oven and tastes like frosting. The high is relaxing but not couch lock.

I just finished a run of those. I just tried some after a month cure. The smell and tastes are great and the 3 plants I grew were very uniform and all produced a nice yield.
