Can a seed sprout upside down? This sprouted up where the seed was planted. It’s in new perlite, cococoir so some random seed shouldn’t be in there .
This is relatively common. Two of mine came up like that on my recently chopped grow. I gently turned them over and they did just fine and produced a very nice yield.
Well here goes nothing, going down to attempt to flip it.
It’s now flipped, I will post a photo later on to show how it went.
Be very gentle…
Mine took a couple of days to recover. One of them, a White Widow, had all sorts of other issues. It took three weeks after coming up before making any new leaves. Despite that, it produced 14 oz. The other one was Super Silver Haze and came in at a bit over 19 zips.
The point is that even a shabby little seedling can grow into a very nice plant.
Wish I read this before! ![]()
Not all of them can be saved but it is worth the effort. ![]()
I did try bro!!
My seed was swollen when I pulled it out and leaves were stuck within… I tried to let it be for 2-3 days then plucked it out! Probably should have let it be for a while!!
But I’ll take good care next time! ![]()
Ty for the knowledge! ![]()
Flipped over
You may need to CAREFULLY remove that shell husk and the membrane between the husk and the cotyledons. A bit of moisture can help…
