Not saying what’s right or wrong with lighting. I use 1000w HPS at 50% during veg and up it to 750w for flower. I also use 600w LEDs just for a boost. I like the HPS LED combo.

Must be careful with nutrients, It’s easy to over do nutes. Cannabis plants are pretty resilient but it all has to be right for them to thrive. The environment, includes lighting, climate, medium, water, food. Test your soil’s PH and mineral content. Check water PH, Test your soil TDS after feeding a couple times.
watch close for problems. If caught early you may be able to correct the problem. Get Robert’s Bible!

Unfortunately I don’t have the pics anymore. It is very possible that I did chop too quickly, patience isn’t one of my stronger points,lol. but the trich’s did have amber. I’ll try upping the nutes to 1/2 strength, and locking up my fiskar cutter until I get a lot more amber and see what happens.

When checking tricomes you wanna make sure you are looking on the buds themselves and not the sugar leaves. Sugar leaves mature faster

The buds are where the amber was, sugar leaves did have more though. I’m hoping I just need to be a little more patient , couch lock wouldn’t be such a bad thing anyway,lol.

You might should take a TDS reading, see what the ppm from the runoff is.
I think you may need some stronger lights I am just about to setup some leds beside my hid’s just to see if they give any improvement to bud size and quality,
I have used leds in the past and found I had a lot of stretching and width between nodes and was using 400w lights I would try buying some 1000w to replace your current ones and see if you get any improvement in density
1000watt hps should make hard buds in a space 20sq/feet or less. Now 400watts only 8sq/ft. If you have leds that claim to be those watts and you can’t get hard buds it’s because they aren’t putting out the watts they are claiming.

How long are you flowering for do you have pictures of the buds before you harvest it might just be that you are doing everything right but picking a little early also you might want to look at your nutrients, ph and temperature there are so many factors that could affect your outcome, instead of picking the whole crop take a bud when you think it’s ready dry it and see what you have if it’s not dense good chance it’s not ready yet and another week or three and you buds would be denser

Do your seedlings stretch too tall? this can indicate inadequate light
