What grow cycle is purple good for please?

My other two LED are full spectrum. This is given to me by my sisters boyfriend on Wednesday. I’ve just turned it on and got a surprise, what do y’all use the multiple colour purple hue lights on, veg or flower? Should I just put my CFL back?

What’s kinda light is that
What brand and model number?

Blues are for veg stage. Reds and deep reds are for flower stage.

Thanks so it’s a veg light

No, it can bring you full cycle. Plants may suffer in the yield department, compared to a quality light though. My first grow was with a light like that and the plant did well

@BobbyDigital has you covered.
I’ll just highlight that you can absolutely use it full cycle :+1:

Depending on the size of your grow space you could use it alone or in addition to the CFL you have if they both fit in the tent.

If i had to choose one or the other I would use the led…

I have four spaces, It’s gone in the Senua, my 80 & 100 both have full spectrum lumatek Attis 200 & Attis 300, both specific to those tent sizes. Im used to running 400w MH & HPS’s, CFL’s in the 40, this is my first LED grow. I was contemplating turning Senua into mother tent.

I have a 300w bestva in storage that will slay 1 or 2 plants. Those lights can grow cannabis well just not as efficient.

I couldn’t find alot of info on it but looks like released in 2021 and here’s what they have to say about it.

I don’t have any experience with anything other than leds.
I’ve got several and they all seem to do good but I’ve nothing to compare them to :man_shrugging:.

Spiderfarmer sf2000 200 watts
Spiderfarmer se3000 300 watts
Marshydro sp3000 300 watts
Growers Choice Roi-e720 720 watts

Both my 300watt lights do very good.

Thanks for the info, you got that just by searching the serial no#?

It’ll definitely help having it this spring/summer as it warms up here, cooling has been more of a problem in my past grows.

BobbyDigital what stage in flower should I flip to full fruiting on this light

Id say run everything on at full power but I’m very curious about what @BobbyDigital thinks about this light.
It has manufacturers suggested to turn the whites way down if not off for later stages of flower
Seems odd to me as white diodes offer alot more then just “blue” light.

But I’m very intrigued by the light when i look it up.
It says its actually 840 watts of power and right now it’s less then $350 on Amazon

I need Bobby to give me a reason not to buy one

We are a country of 400 million vs countries with couple billion. There are some good lights we never hear about in the States that are solid. I have some from china that are friggin solid lights. No matter what people think…we dont get their best here. China is on point with tech. They just send us the junk.

Three weeks veg under mars hydro ts1000 and now actually 12 days since flipping to flower under the new light I’m loving it so far

Not familiar with the light. If it has an option to run full spectrum, I’d just run it that way for the whole life cycle of the plant. If there’s a flowering mode, you could switch to that the last few weeks before harvest.
