Under color be sure you select backlight if you donā€™t select it will send you the meter with no light

I saw one on amazon that looks like it. I can get it sooner. Itā€™s overwhelming me! I need a humidifier too. I want it to shut off automatically. I wish vivosun had one that operates on the E42A control hub so I could see it on the app.

The link I gave you is directly for the manufacturer of this item. The manufacturer does not sell on eBay or Amazon. Although they look alike 99% chance theyā€™re not. Beware Iā€™ve seen several members complained that they donā€™t hold calibration on Amazon purchases.

As for the pH up and down this is a good deal

The pen should come with three (3) calibration packets for ph calibration
I always buy more. Below is a good price for additional packets

Normally the pen comes calibrated but it never hurts to calibrate it before use. Keep in mind you also have to calibrate the EC with 1413 Ī¼S/cm

Below is a good price on the calibration solution. (Calibrating the EC will automatically calibrate the PPM)

I printed the chart and got the fox farm nutrients. The cal/mag isnt here yet. Iā€™m in week 6 of my grow. Do I use all 3 of the nutrients or which one? I will use distilled water until i get the ph meter. Thank you for all your help.

As per the chart go to the sixth week that whole column is the recommend nutrients you want to mix in a gallon of water.
Since you might not have all the the recommend nutrients use what you have. Most only have the first three, sounds like this is so by saying you have the three in front of you.
So 6th week since you may not have been feeding you probably donā€™t need to do a flush. As you look at your chart it has week by week in the green at the top.
6th week
3 teaspoons of big bloom
2 teaspoons of grow big
2 teaspoons of tiger bloom per 1 gallon of water.
Add 1 teaspoon of cal/ mag to the gallon and ph to 6.5.

You need to PH BEFORE YOU APPLY THE MIXTURE.
Get your pen first before using.

What size pots are you using? Please send a pic if you can.
Like I said fox farm always mixes up 1 gallon at a time and most people probably use a 5 gallon grow pot so that is what is needed for a 5 gallon pot.
FLUSHING
Very important. As you see on the chart you are at week 6 so a lot of history is behind you. Generally I flush every 3 weeks of feeding. Flushing is using a mixture ( sledgehammer ) to clean your roots of salts that build up on them. So as from here on out feed every week as to the recommend nutrients in that column. When you feed next in week 7 give it the same nutrients again as was in week 6. Notice the blue line with sledghammer in it before you hit week 8, it tells you to mix 2 teaspoons per gallon of sledghammer then ph it again to 6.5. You need to push double what you feed thru, so a 5 gallon pot you flush thru 2 gallons.
Let dry before you start normal feeding.

I made a typo on the nutrients feeding on the Tiger Bloom it is to be 1 teaspoon not 2. donā€™t forget anything you put into that pot needs to be of a PH of 6.5. Wait for your meter. Sorry for the typo.
You will increase the tiger bloom once you get to the 8th week to 2 teaspoons.

I donā€™t think you understand. After mixing it in distilled water donā€™t help you because the adding the nutrients in the distilled water lowers the ph as to where it will hurt your plants.
Just water distilled until you have all.

The ph of distilled water is 5.7 to 5.8
If You add nutrients it takes it down to guessing 4.6 or lower which will lock you out or worse.
Like I said just water only until you get a meter and all the item together.
