how do i post a question about my weak stems at the base from probably over watering?? i cant figure out how to post!! donie
my stems at the base is very weak, should ikill it and start over??

the plants are about 5 inchs, and at the base they are weak and fall over the color at the base is different, a little pink will it survive or what do i do/
How far from the plants is your light?? May need to lower it.

yes they bend like this but the bottom of the stem near the dirt is weak and a mild pink color i think i watered them wrong… can this be saved??

Cover the stem up with soil up to about a inch from Foliage.
It’s hard to say without seeing them.
Are they in small cups, or a larger container?
In a small cup I’ll use a twist tie. Poke one end in the soil, and loosely loop the other end around the stem to provide support.
Sort of like this (except the loop goes around the stem).
This will prevent the top heavy seedling from falling over and dying.
If you’re seedlings are stretching up, it’s because the need more light. Drop your lights a few more inches.
If it’s in a big container you can carefully build soil up around the lower part of the stem to support it. Be sure to leave 1”-1.5” from the bottom leaves clear.

If your seedlings are this size, without their first real leaves, just mist the soil around them and under the dome. The don’t need watering or nutrients yet.

You got good advice. Your light was too far away from the seedling so it stretched.
