Always look new, easy to clean, unscrew open and easily take out rootball and old soil. I think they are going to be a one time purchase thing because they are plastic. Just look like they will at this point. I have one set that has three grows in them that still look like they were never used. The fabric pots I have after a few grows start sagging and lean to 1 side or the other. Not the air pots stay standing straight and looking good. They basically do the same as fabric IMO. I think in the long run they will be the cheaper choice. More expensive at first but don’t need replaced.
I bought this kind and like better than the originals.
I don’t have a lot of experience but I really like the air pots. It’s nice being able to unscrew the side dump the soil then hose it down and start again. And as long as you don’t hulk smash it they should last a long time.
Just because I don’t know if you are watching. @Riskguy
Hey thanks for your thoughts…was replanting some plants for the last bit. They sound really good…I think I will end up giving them a go as I replace my bags.
I just closed my first grow due to a problem with nutrition overload and am going to convert my dwc into a Rdwc. Simple extra bucket with a pump and a 1 inch circle from bucket to bucket. Going to add on an auto ph with logging system.
My tent is a small 2.7x2.7 x 63 and I really wanted to do hydro. I fabricated a panel even with the netpots and even upholstered it in mylar. The whole panel cranks up with the netpots secured to service buckets.
Will not need the crank system with Rdwc but will leave in place. I built the panel due to temp concerns. basement is 64-70 year round and saved me the cost of a bucket chiller.
Love it love it! That’s a clean job
