Dude I am hardcore. 20 years on both EQ and WoW. Battlefield since it first hit pc…20 years. Madden and whatever son and I feel like beating. My days can be filled with full reloads of Operating System and new tweaks. This rig is playing BF6 at 260FPS at 1440p. i can roll 4k at 120fps but on my 65 OLED I cant read anything. Too detailed and small at that resolution. RedDead Redemption 2 looks like it is a video it is so detailed at ultra settings. Scary. can get lost in it hunting and fishing. Still trying to get the pc on and start. Just cant get motivated lmao.

Jeeze wife called and said she is killing it already. We had medical category come in and she is moving it fast. Go figure. I am not there so customers are not scared off by my ugly ass..lol.

@Storm, you doing BF6? How are you liking it so far? Was a heavy BF player through 4. BF5 just sucked at release. Yes, they got better through the patches but the magic was gone. Thinking about BF6 now, me and some of my gaming buddies have been talking about it. Appreciate your thoughts.

It is FAST!!! Keep your settings down unless you have a full rig. Classes are pretty stable. Medics are BOSS. Everyone can rezz. Medic instant and others timed, risky, but can actually drag the downed player backwards while rezzing. Cover thing.
Recon is actually worth something CQB. Besides a laze for anti armor and air you get a subby that is just OP. Not relegated to sniper weapons. Other classes are balanced as well. For an opening build at least. Many new types of play and will get a warzone style mode in a week. Portal allows map and playstyle builds. VERY good reviews from myself so far and I can be a bitchy SOB on PVP games. I despise serious class bugs giving advantages to 1.
PLUS!!!, can blow everything up.

A suggestion @Darran DONT BUY IT!!! Just spend 20 bux on an EA sub for a month. Get all the games and if like Bf6 just sub it monthly. Get every EA game. Madden etc.

I’m ok on my setup. Ibuypower, Intel I9, 13th gen, 32gb DDR5, two 1TB Samsung EVO 850 ssd’s plus some other spin drives for storage/photo stuff, and a Nvidia RTX 4070Ti with 12gb of DDR6 that’s slightly overclocked. At that time, the 5070 was king and you literally couldn’t get a 5080 (late 2023) unless you had 2.5k to spend on just the video card, or won one of the put your name in and we will let you know when it is available pools. But mine, slightly overclocked, performs as fast as a 5070 stock. I do get a bit of FOMO, but it’s solid for now, VR capable and able to play high/ultra on just about anything so far. Thanks for your thoughts on it. I’m feeling pretty close to diving back in with my buddies on it. Especially with the destructible environment…lol

Oh, I didn’t know they were doing that. But it’s $100. Would pay for itself in 5 months? But I see the point of being able to play the other games. Right now only playing a couple, mainly 7 Days to Die. World building and zombie blastingcombined. Couple of my favorite things…lol

That is a solid Rig. I am an AMD guy as I feel they are the future. Was Nvidia and Intel brfore the chip failures. Dlss and FSR have improved exponentially. NO ray tracing in BF6 so our cards can smoke it. You can do 1440p at ultra. Same settings on gameplay as normal. Shake off. Widen field of view, you know the routine. That rig will press mine all but the processor. The X3d chips are just crazy.

If you plan to play with buds, the communication is key. Mucho spotting. Everyone rezzes etc. Dont need a medic if you guys are tight and stay together. All can rez. AND your recon works best with group NOT on a hill somewhere. Was 1 of the beta testers.

Hell ya. I build pcs and play bf6 rn. Asus rtx 4090 oc, 14900k, 128gb ram, 45" oled 240hz moniter. Maxed out no frame gen and get up to 182fps

Hey @Storm and @FearsomeTea , a couple of my gaming buddies went ahead and pulled the trigger on BF6. Now that Halloween is over, cleaned up, and almost all put away, I’m probably gonna install today. Maybe we check in and be the Marijuana Mercenaries Squad?…lol I’ll update after I get’er done.
