I’m gonna be brutally honest on this grow your probably not gonna get a big return. Your 8 weeks in. But you can learn on this grow and your next will be 10 times better. My first grow I used soil that was too hot. I got about a quarter ounce off her. But that’s ok we learn from our mistakes. And we’re gonna make a bunch of them. The good thing is you have this forum. We will help you along the way. A bunch of excellent growers are here. But we all grow differently.

Ok thank you. I honestly looked at this as a trial and error. I knew I wouldn’t do great on this one but I would learn for the next time. I have more og kush seeds. What soil do you suggest I start it off in.

How do you grow one single dominant cola and keep the plant short ?

@Onelife Don’t top it and and if it’s an auto run 12/12 the whole grow. If it’s a photo flip sooner to keep it short.

You can make it a one cola plant if that’s the way you want to roll you just gotta cut everything else outta the way

How soon do you flip and do you keep pruning the side branches I think @RightAway and @dbrn32 tried teaching me this before but I ended up topping, they got to tall I was just donated about 20 seeds from brothers Grimm I like to get all them going if possible in the 3x3

I wouldn’t go no more than 2 or 3 weeks veg but you ain’t gonna get near as much yeild. Your definitely gonna have to do some cutting along the way. @OGIncognito may have some suggestions

Thanks I will post some pictures later when light are on of the plants I have going now. I don’t think they are up to par buds are small and spaced. It’s been awhile since I grew last time maybe it was beginners luck but I did much better before. But I was in a 4x4 with a 750 lamp and they where in 5 or 7 gallon pots

Don’t run those bg seeds as single cola plants. A couple of them are very nice strains. If you want to run sog grow the plants out and take a bunch of clones then put the clones in sog.

Thanks dburn32 I cut 5 clones from the gopher glue plants that I burned up badly and they all took hold the only thing is they where in flower so I guess that’s called monster cropping and that I also did before but ended up getting rid of them. Took a long time to switch over to regular growth but they did. I never followed through with them. I think they where blue dream. I’m not happy with my lights.

It’s not the plants fault it’s mine for having them in two gallons pots under bad lights

The easy way is to get them while still in veg then keep them under relatively low light intensity in small cups, plugs, or trays until rooted. Then transplant to pot and start increasing light intensity. You just have to remember that they are considered mature plants at this point even though they are usually still small.

Ok here is some pictures the first ones are the the gopher glue they are 31 days into a 65 day flower
The next set is the jelly Donutzs they are 15 days into flower for a 55 day flower
I switched light tonight I moved the Patriot in with the Rspec. Before it was the 288ish looking board with the Rspec set at around 35 DLI
