Blue Dream has been in the flowering tent for ten weeks tomorrow. I use coco/amended soil home mixture and feed with TPS. Everything has been and looks great. In just debating on when I should cut them down. They’re nice. But are they done?? Any advice would be nice, thanks guys.

Some plants can take up to 12-13 weeks to fully mature all depends on the genetics we would also need a much clearer picture of the trichomes up close to see if ready or not depending on how good your cell phone camera is you can some tine get a good clear pic then zoom in on the pic to see the trichomes you want all cloudy or all cloudy with a dash of amber

I know. My cellphone camera isn’t the best. I’ll try to take another. They’re a mixture. Very little amber some clear but mostly milky cloudy. I’ve been giving them just water for the last four days.

Just figured out the zoom lol. Idk if they help though

Is that 12 weeks 12/12 or 12 weeks from preflower?

What type of effect are you trying to achieve ?

Basically maximum yield with good stoney quality if possible. This is my second grow with the same genetics. I topped all of these and not my first. I ended up getting 15 oz from three plants. But I had to harvest early due to issues. Mostly I want weight

I was even thinking I may keep one in the flowering tent to over ripen it and get some pollen. I’m very impressed with this particular strain

Pollen you get from male plants. These are all females, unless youre referring to keif. Keif comes from trichome production.

:point_up_2: Rodelisation , it could work and the least desired method for producing fem pollen…the success rate isn’t as high as the other methods. Nothing wrong with experimenting Grow Bro. Nice looking crew in the tent and congrats on the upcoming harvest :love_you_gesture:

I grew 3 Skilltz a few years back and harvested the 1st two and wanted to see how a full on amber buzz felt… stressed it to the point that it started to show some pollen sacks. I was clueless on this method then and purely accidental :love_you_gesture:

From a male marijuana plant you will get pollen yes but it is 50/50 pollen. Keep a female plant past it’s prime. Until it’s towards death lol. And it will produce small banana shaped flowers (similar to the males) these flowers will open and produce pollen. This is how you get %100 feminized pollen so anything you pollinate with that will be feminized:+1::+1::+1:

I haven’t personally done it yet so if you do please get in contact and let me know how it goes. Maybe we could trade some fem pollen. I will have blue dream :joy::rofl:

Okay so. Haven’t got much advice. But it’s my fault I am going to invest in a microscope that hooks up to my phone so I can take proper pictures. That’s the only way I a can think of to get the full picture in there of the trichomes

Thank you very much. I appreciate that. I do not share much. New to this. It just became legal in my state lol. I’ve got a few grows under my belt already, but it’s always a learning experience :100:

I’m also interested in the yield I will obtain. I got 15 oz dry cured from three plants one seed and two clone un-topped. These are seven clones (topped) but In slightly smaller pots.
