Met him at a friends house in Atlanta Ga. late 70’s. His dad worked with various artists so I got to meet a verity of some really big artists. Al was just so down to earth, humble, and just one super person, wish I knew him better.
I’ve had a few at up to 5 feet but kinda skinny and thin, this one just kinda shot up and really filled out. Some of the side buds are almost 9’’ in girth! 1 top cola lost to bud rot though. I also use Great White and King Crab root enhancer. I admit total luck on this one but starting with good genetics helps too. Here’s couple of the side buds. I clipped one and dried it in a Ronco food dryer, and ya, made F&F 9 entertaining and hilarious.
Probably harvest this weekend with a few friends, trim party, BBQ and some smooth jazz! Good luck man, ya never know your next might be a giant too.
