So, i grow bigger plants than most. I grow 2 plants that fill up a 5x5 space. Plants are about 5 to 6 feet tall in flower (see pic, just did a big defoliate to keep humidity in check). They are in 10 gallon fabric pots full of promix hp feeding every 48 hours with 12-4-16 jacks (2.3ec). I want to know if anyone out there also grows in 10 gallon pots and how often do you feed? I think i can bump it up to everyday but wanted your feedback. I get slight deficiencys after week 5 in flower and i think bumping up the feed to everyday might fix it but promix hp says it needs a slight dryback before watering.
Is 24 hours good enough? Here is my setup;
Sealed room
Co2 1200ppm
Temps: 83f at 55% humidity with 3° leaf offset
Tons of air movement
Hlg scorpion diablo lights (700 ish watts)
I grow in 10 gallon fabric and Root Organic original soil. By the time my plants are two months old (when I flip to flower) they need to be watered every day. If I miss a day they wilt quite noticeably.
By the time the stretch is finished they are getting about 2 gallons each day.
That is a difficult question to answer, in general. Growing styles and plant size have a huge impact on water consumption along with environmental conditions.
That said, my plants consume somewhere around 200 gallons per plant over their entire growth cycle (seed to harvest).
Absolutely beautiful absolutely beautiful. Like Merlin said 2 gallons for a 10 gallon fabric pot. I know pretty soon I’m up to a gallon each plant all the way to a gallon and a half each plant. I also said that is crazy how much water I have to prepare for the weekend
Keep up the good work awesome tall boys
I run 10 gallon pots for my photos. Once they finish stretch, it is 1 - 1.5 gallons/day. I try to keep my plants 5’ and under in the tents and this works out fine.
