I’m on my second-ish outside grow. Two plants, both in 5 gal fabric pots, entering second week of flower. They’re small, about 10" tall each.
Not so much an issue with the plants, but it’s getting colder and their bags are drying out a lot slower than my grow over the summer. I should be feeding today, but the soil is still pretty moist.
I’m in FFOF, but it’s depleted, and I gave a compost tea a couple days ago. I use FF liquid trio and powered trio per schedule, except the flushing as they have shown no issues.
So, I’m trying to get a little advice as to how to adjust their watering and feeding schedule. I’ve been giving about a half gallon each every 3 days, but since the weather is cooler and getting cooler still, I’m not sure what to do.
Thanks in advance and happy growing!!!

Yeah , if pots are still heavy after 3 days And wet I would check them on the 4th day.

So do you think I should wait to feed until tomorrow evening and just pick the schedule back up there? Being in early flower I don’t really want to back off on feed. Maybe ⅓ gallon watering until they start really sucking it up?

Main thing is I don’t want to throw their feeding off whack too much.
I don’t think one day will hurt you. Just pick the schedule backup on 4th day. I’m pretty much inside guy now I’ll stick one outside occasionally if I find a perfect spot it won’t get stolen.

Second week of flower, you still have some weeks to go, maybe 6 or 8 and getting colder. Hope you are in a mild climate, North East cold front came through yesterday, pulled one the A.M. Having coffee she is waiting on porch for hair cut.
Point is time is running out. You may have to bring them in side to finish out.
By the way I do not believe in strict time tables.

I’m in SE Texas area, so our cold snaps are usually somewhat temporary. If I have to, I may be able to scrape the change to have a new light ordered, but the one I have would barely veg a plant, much less flower 2. Appreciate the input!

Texas Cannabis unfriendly state ? inside grow may be a better choice.

They changed the laws over the last couple of years here. Decriminalized small amounts. I had three misdemeanor possession charges that are gone. And medical opened up a lot this year to more patients. At first it was basically terminal patients or severe epilepsy and other such disorders or diseases which were treated with cannabis. So we are making huge advancements. But it’s like lawmakers have a step by step for introducing it, and there are a boatload of tiny little steps. Baby steps I guess? Lol

One good thing about not having to mix all the FF stuff and pH and PPM and what not, it’s nice to have an open Sunday morning.
Thanks for input folks. I’m going to change my feedings to Mondays. Will water when necessary.
Hope everybody has an awesome day/night and you grow fat, juicy nugs!
