Vegetative stage humidity

At this particular stage, what should me RH be? Currently I have it on 65-70% RH set. I have seen a few different answers but some saying dropping it to 60%.

I go 65% till flowering drop to 55% then if possible. 45% late flower. Not always possible. This whole flowering has been in the 60-65%. Monsoon makes it hard to keep low. Harvest today was a joy and a relief.

I think a lot of people say between 60-70% is fine
I was just told to raise mine to about 70% on my journal
Happy growing!!

Depends on your temp…this will help.

It usually depends on what strain you have because Indica is more of a desert strain and does better in a little less humidity minor 70% indica and the humidity been between 30 and 45 the whole time so far and they’re doing good

I’m growing Trainwreck. I decided to drop my humidity to 60-65%. It’s seeming to love this level as I just changed it yesterday evening.

Also what size tent are you growing your plants in?

It’s a 3x3x6

Typical humidity levels
Seedlings in dome 80%
Early Veg 70%
Late Veg 60%
Early flower 50%
Late flower 40-45%
Temps stay right around 72ºF
Minor fluctuations are no biggie.

I kept mine around 70% and temps around 80-82 throughout veg and had amazing results.

No matter what anyone tells you the fact of the matter is humidity does matter!

Keeping low humidity levels causes your plant unnecessary stress. It will make it drink more water to try to replenish what it sweats out. This will in turn cause issues such as, nutrient burns , loss of potency/ terpenes(smell taste) ,decay spots on the leaves themselves, and also a weird wrinkle on the leaves/ or curling at the ends. Worst of all it could also ruin your overall yield

Use the vpd chart and keep in line as best as possible.

Run high for veg and reduce for flower, the chart posted above will help immensely

I keep temp anywhere from 70-76F. I’ve been following the recommended temp for Trainwreck ILGM has on their website. But on average it it stays around 73F-74F

I envy you guys that comment that you can control your humidity depending on stage of plant. I haven’t figured that out yet. I can keep it about 52 with lights on and about 62 with lights out. Maybe it takes a big dehumidifier in the lung room.

To be honest, If it weren’t for the AC infinity inline fan and control panel, I’d be struggling with it lol

I live in Denver so I have low humidity. My tent is close to the vent on my swamp cooler so it keeps the house humidity between 50-60%. If I need to raise it, I turn on the swamp cooler and direct all the vents to blow right toward the tent. If I need to lower it, I use a dehumdifier inside the tent. It is a bit harder to maintain the higher humidity levels in the winter as the swamp goes off and the heater comes on which dries out the house even more. We have a humidifier in every room of the house for winter time.
