I’ve grown photos quite a bit, and that’s about my range as well. The reason I asked was, I was wondering if the autopots may have sped up the process at all?
It looks like it doesn’t. But that’s not bad, since autopots make the growing process a bit easier on the grower.
I grow in 10 gallon pots and it gets tedious moving them around. Growing 1 pound of weed in a 4 gallon pot would be beyond cool. Thank you.
It’s not hard to get big harvests. Just give plenty of light and keep the grow in the sweet spot. Less is more.
I give mine plenty of light. I’m still an old school HID user. I start my seedlings under a 600w MH dialed down by 50%. After the second set of leaves appear, I dial it up 100% to 600w.
As soon as I begin LST, I switch out the 600w bulb to a 1000w MH for the remainder of veg. When flowering begins, I replace the 1000w MH with a 1000w HPS for the remainder of the grow.
It sounds like a lot of unnecessary steps, and it probably is. But I’m obsessive compulsive, and it makes me feel like I’m accomplishing something.
with the old light that is what you had to do…change out bulbs for different stages of growth…
