Updates On Strawberry cough Auto And AK47 Photo period

Here’s a pic to justify what I was saying. I just don’t know if I should give her a feeding with nearing 49 days on the 12th and it calls for 55-65 days from initial flowering started

Ignore the recommended flower time. Each plant will do its own thing in it’s own time. My guess is you still have a couple weeks still. All the hairs will darken and shrivel up. Then you can start checking the trichs to judge ripeness. looks like Ca. Have you checked your runoff PH and EC/PPM? Whats the PH of your water?

I will check runoff as we speak, in the mist of watering now. I thought it was ca. also but I’ve added in calmag to the water for a few watering and she still didn’t bounce back. I’ve noticed the water become a lot more clear so my guess is she’s running out of Gaia green dry amendments

So beings I’m using Gaia green dry amendments the ex coming out would be high because the Gaia green would be in with it. Would it be better to measure the ph going in and coming out and adjust accordingly?

I forgot what you had going. You can check PH, but yes EC/PPM won’t be useful with the dry amendments. Have you noticed if it is still spreading? At this stage you won’t get any new growth so it can be hard to tell. If it’s not getting better with added cal mag then you should start thinking about uptake issues

That is getting a little acidic. Are you still feeding with 6.4?

Between 6.2 and 6.4. Should I maybe up it to 6.6 and get that ph up ? Definitely starting to spread as well

usually acidic runoff is a sign of salt buildup. You could flush with your 6.2-6.4 water then give a small feed with cal mag

I’ll be right on that tomorrow, thank you !

I just noticed I had some distilled water left over that I was using for my humidifier. I have about 6 gallons. If I ph the distilled water to 6.4 you think that would be better for the plants rather then using water that’s been sitting out for 24 hours with aerator to help speed up removing the chlorine from the water. I just figured it would be a lot better than using tap water that has minerals in it already and I wanna be able to flush the medium of what’s in it now…

either one will do the job as long as they are low ec. You will probably need 2-3 times the size of the pot for a good flush.

Distilled water EC is coming up 0.
Tap water EC is coming up 0434.

The tap is just a touch high, but not a big deal. It just might take a little more.

3 gallons in using the distilled water and the water that is coming out is all clear. Should I go ahead and continue on ?

you can check the runoff to see if the ph is coming back up. When it comes back in line your ready to switch to the feed.

Would I have to run tap water through it now to see if it falls in like because distilled shouldn’t have a ph

No need. distilled is neutral but It picks up salts as it filters through the medium.
