With not being able to hide a tent anymore ( family drama ) I am moving the girls to a 2 x 8 closest. ( lockable and in a lockable room ). Starting with bba in the corner “scrog “. With a small northern lights auto next to it. Other side is amnesia haze auto. I plan is to get it better organized and drop a new seed every 3 weeks for a nice regular harvest and plenty of meds. Main lighting is we 260 xl v2. On the far right a blurple 600 and to the left is a 65 watt hlg that has done great.
As they get harvested every thing will move to the right and get under the qb 260 and the blurple. Going light on nutes ff trio but really only in flower. Soil is all ffof. Temps range from 73 to 83 and rh hangs around 45 but will drop come wintertime.
It’s not much but it’s what I have to work with. To many plants but only 2 in flower and 1 preflower at a time. That’s the plan anyway. All have been topped and some lst.
I agree, sounds like you have put neccessary thought in. I don’t like perpetual grow with autos as much as using mother plant and clones, but sounds like best choice for one space.
I’m not sure if it would make a difference, but I think my first try I would put the 260 kit in middle and other lights on the outside. Then put other lights on the outside and move plants towards the middle. Just the way my brain works seems like it would make sense to keep most powerful lights in center of room where they’ll put the most light on the floor.
It is the middle that I have the 260. The 600 blurple in the flower side help were the edge of the 260 light drops off and same with the little qb on the veg side.
Coming up in 6 weeks for this northern lights auto. I topped it at 2 weeks now I am pulling them back to get light down in there. Using a peace of wire and cloths pens.
Rearranging the closet at bit. Put amnesia haze auto under a scrog while she is stretching. Once bba is done I will replace the blurple for another qb as I am 100% convinced the blurple is just not performing and no reason to not double the yeild of what’s in that space. I was only going to do one scrog but the other is doing so well I figured why not. 1 will be a month behind the other.
Time to meet miss December. ( I name the for the month they will be harvested ). In her short life she was topped and tied down. Now just femed her. Probably the last time as she is getting close to pre flower.
Miss November wasn’t real happy after I scoged her so I took it off. She already hardened up so she stayed spread out and seems happier. I just waited to long.
