Blue lab soil ph meter, and calibrated before hand. I thought it was wrong too so i bought another ph meter. lol off the same pallet though.
6.0 pH is totally fine

Hey @Sizzzl , I’m new to growing. What’s the significance of Ppm and why should I be concerned about it in my growing?
PPM stands for Parts Per Million. It is a measure of the nutrient concentration in your soil. A low PPM will mean that your plant is underfed and will therefore underperform. A high PPM is not good because high PPMs can lead to nute burn, as the nutrient concentration is excessive.
I run my plants at a runoff PPM of ~1,000.
