Here I find myself with the first real grow winding down. I have been playing this next grow in my head for some time now. It’s now time to put the rubber on the road! 3 white widow beans have sprouted and I am already up to no good lol…… I decided to add the last 2 white widow beans last night so I will probably have 2 stragglers but I decided I should keep with same basics as the last grow and see if I can smash it again.
6 inch exhaust with filter
4 inch intake
4x4x7 tent
48x48 yearld light
Spot cooler as needed
3 fans inside the tent
Soil is a mixture of happy frog and ocean forest
Nutrients will be advanced nutrients
They will go into pots today and the process begins
I popped 2 more in last night and I should put them in the dirt in a couple of days
Here is the soil I will be using this time. I’m starting the girls in light warrior and will transplant into the ocean forest and happy frog mixture when it’s time.
The 3 that have sprouted are in their soil and chilling under the fluorescent light in the garage today only because I am cleaning and sterilizing the entire room tent and all equipment because I don’t want any pests this time. This evening I will get them out to the room and that is where they will stay.
Any thoughts as to why the dirt outside of the humidity domes is turning dark? It’s 100% light warrior…… I have never used it before but these girls are sprouting at warp speeds lol
@Covertgrower thank you for helping me to understand.
I now have 4 out of 5 sprouted and the 5th is kinda concerning me as I have started to scratch the surface of the soil and found the sprout to be yellowish. I left the top of the sprout exposed while leaving the taproot below. Hopefully tomorrow I will see something good…….
@Breezy I have success on 4 out of 5 for sure. The 5th one has me a little worried because it hasn’t really poked its head above the dirt quite yet. I found it lurking just 1/4 inch below the surface and I was able to expose the top. It was very yellowish and the leaves were stuck closed. I separated them very gently and left it alone after that. I just got home today and found her very green in color but no noticeable difference otherwise.
@Mark0427 i have them under a 4ft fluorescent light. It’s the same light I do all my seedlings with. The soil I’m using for this stage is light warrior. I have never used before as I have always used jiffy pellets. I’m wasn’t watering much and have just started some nutes about 3 days ago. This soil sheds water and I’m not really liking it. I guess I will have to sprout a few more seeds to fill the tent.
