First time posting, awesome forum! So this is my second auto grow… 4 months out… plenty of flower, tricombes are still….? Clear I guess?
It looks like you have a couple weeks or so to go. Try to get some close up pics of trichs to be sure
Really hard to tell without looking through a jewlers loupe or something similar. I see you still have some white pistils as well. Its looking really nice just have some time left, looks like theres still some clear trichs mixed through there too. Maybe a couple weeks left
She’s foxtailing. It’s hard, but you have to look at some older buds. You may have to remove a newer foxtail to see it.
Also always try to take pictures without the grow lights. The blurple makes it tough to judge (as does those new fangled leds, they make things lime green)
Your calyx are nicely swollen n pistils are mostly orange. So ur approaching the window at the least. Id make sure to check trichs with a jewelers loupe (like Cali said, check older calyx lower in the buds because those foxtails {new growth} will have u waiting weeks
I look everyday through the eye loupe but they are all the same looking, also as pointed out earlier, I woke to even more new pistils.
Have those single finger dark green waxy leaves been as prominent all grow? Or does it look like they are coming out more everyday?
The new white pistils need to be ignored. She’s fox tailing and will continue to foxtail until you let her go too long. when that happens, a plant can hermie.
I hope it’s doesn’t hermie, was thinking about calling it and shutting off the lights for 48 hours to force the tricombes, these autos are now over 4 months? Here’s some baby pictures
They grow up so fast…
So I recently (yesterday) started a 12-12 light cycle as opposed to a 18-6 which is what I used on my 1st grow, hopefully, maybe to compel the tricombes to turn faster… see how it goes.Processing: B4DAC5F3-7D1D-460F-B598-8DC8FD6BFAE5.jpeg…

I’ll try tonight with the eye loupe lol see if it works
I could be wrong, but autos seems to do better under longer light cycles. Most of the harm would happen during vegetative stage (I think).
I’m going to loop in @Big123 for his advice though since I don’t seem to have a handle on autos at all LOL…
I have started autos under 18/6 cycle indoors, then kicked them outside and repotted simultaneously. The light cycle was shorter outdoors - nowhere near 12/12 - they had already started pre flowering being inside for about a month.
@Not2SureYet is the auto guru.
So I tried the eye loupe thing with my iPad… to no avail, managed to get these, I also ordered a clip on magnifier for the iPad/iPhone which I should have ordered after my first grow. But here they are last night.
I have a question, I have a Granddaddy Purple(it’s a fast growing version) it’s still in what looks like preflower but quickly approaching mid. I’ve started to notice a lot of milky white tricombes. Granted they are on the leaves and I know they mature faster than on the actual buds(which are still forming). Is this normal? I’ve included some pics sorry I can’t supply some closeups. Any knowledge would be of great help. Thanks in advance.
Peace
