Tricks to optimum THC

Looking for ideas on how to achieve THC levels boasted by seed breeders We are finding many don’t test what they are said to be Let’s heat the time tested tricks

A lot of this has to do with environment and nutrients all at the right times. Don’t rule out light intensity, light spectrum, either.
So unfortunately this is not a simple answer.

I was reading in the guides on the site that growing basil with marijuana will help increase the resins and oils in the bud.
Needless to say i went to the closest big box and bought basil plants for my outside girls! LOL!

@Smellit102 wow!!! She is absolutely massive. Very impressed here.

Smellit102, it looks pretty awesome.

For nowadays I’m thinking about growing a Cherry Pie hemp flower in my indoor conditions.

Are you growing clone or from seed? Cuz I guarantee any claims of thc or cbd numbers are bogus at best because each phenotype will have different chemistry. Some smell strongly, others not so much, some are bushy, some tall, some have a totally different terp profile… and obviously cannabinoids will not be the same plant to plant. The best thing to do, is grow out as many seeds as you can and short list them. Take cuttings of the finest examples, label them dry and cure… test and then you have the best examples. The clones will be the only way to have any kind of consistency with cannabinoid levels. Then all you need is consistent soil conditions, watering and feeding habits and of course sunlight, humidity and temperature. Good luck!

There aren’t really any tricks other than good lighting, proper nute levels, proper nute levels, good pH,…

I’m testing that right now. Seems possible as the cannabis plant tries to compete with the smell from the basil to bring in more pollinators. Will see as I’m doing this with clones that I am very familiar with.

Keeping a cutting of sweet basil in a cup of water in the tent, will get a rooted one in there soon.

Me too! And why the hell not? The fresh basil will nicely compliment the San Marzano tomatoes I’m growing to make sauce with!

All my outside girls have one in the pot with them.
I’m gonna compare the results with the inside grow of the same strains that don’t have a buddy with them!
Gonna be a fun fall!
