The leaves will generally turn before the bud. If the sugar leaves are that far along, I think you are close if not there.
Take a look at this video. Maybe it will help sort thing out. I should watch again too since I’m close to cutting one.

Right on, I actually saw this one many moons ago! Thanks for the refresher! My first attempt was way too early, alittle trigger shy now

I love how he points out in the video about strength being at its peak b4 most of hairs have changed. But the tradeoff of bulking vs %drop imo makes it worth the wait. Good video. Hurts watching him cutting budz by the week but it helps us understand the change.

So like once I feel like I’m in the “chop” zone I’ll have like a week to actually harvest, sound right??
Based on the photos posted earlier, I believe that will be the case.
Right now I am in that same decision making mode.
