Everybody needs a little gun or river therapy! I need it bad right now….
I put a Razor on my muzzleloader this year, pretty impressed so far. Love all my Trijicons!
@Growdoc Razor is a good scope. I have two of those on rimfire rifles. One is a CZ 457 in 17HMR - one of the most accurate rifles I own and it deserves a good optic. The other is on a target/bull barreled 10-22 which I like to shoot suppressed with. Fun shooting paper with both of those. I have a range finder but I don’t have a chrono. The rifle I was shooting yesterday is a 2005 Remington 700 classic in 308 Winchester. The rifle is a basically a hunting rifle with a beautiful walnut stock but it is a shooter. When I was reloading I had a load with a Nosler BT bullet it really liked. I’m shooting federal premium with 168 and 175 Sierra MK bullets. It really likes both loads but is a little better with the 175 bullet. I shot two initial groups @ 100 yards with the 175 grain bullet that were less than .6". I just got to learn how to use MRad. I should post a pic of the rifle; it’s really a nice model. I bought the last release that Remington made the Classic model new. The Classic ran for 25 years from 1981 to 2005. All of them came with a 24" barrel on a nice BDL level stock. Here is a link showing the calibers for the 25 year run. I would love to happen upon a 1981 or 1982 model in 7x57 Mauser and 257 Roberts respectively. Hard to find though.
Yes sir, I have one in 25/06!
That is a nice caliber. Flat shooting and hard hitting without the recoil of the parent round.
Sup grow bros and gals. We have beautiful spring weather in this lower latitude. 75 degrees and very little cloud cover. Birds are singing and the mockingbirds are bullies to all comers at our place. Hope everyone is doing great and your grows are doing what they are supposed to do.
These two just entered the 4th week and doing good. I have a little grower’s anxiety about whether to lollipop them. I probably should have done it a week ago, but I did defoil the lower third of plants twice so far but I did so gently. I have bud sites all over both and many are in the shade. Since I didn’t SCROG, not all are getting the same amount of light, but that’s OK. I am on the fence on giving them the lollipop treatment. The goal is probably everyone’s; best yield of quality flowers. Dense with lots of trichs. They’ve been given 4/2 of Jack’s 321 at partial strength the last three waterings and top dressed with Roadside Organics Bloom Dust every three times. I’m changing up the nutes from here on out to Jack’s Fast Track recipe. Would like your thoughts and suggestions if you feel compelled. @DoneDeal @Growdoc @OGIncognito @Dman1969 @Ed43758 @StonedCold13 @Grims @Crazy81 @Retiredoldguy @spankyjr1
Lookin good Brother, nice and healthy. Not sure I’d feed that at 1400 ppm as they listed, but otherwise, it’ll work. I haven’t let these get over 1100 or they got mini flushed back to under 1000, in coco that only took a gallon at most usually. They are on MC1, tent girls are half and half. I’m going to run some numbers on Jacks zero nitrogen and part B to see if there’s enough calcium without a full nitrogen shot in it. May end up adding cal mag and cutting the Epsom back, but I just feel Jacks and MC1 both have a bit too much in mid and late flower….
I forgot to mention I give them both silica and calmag each feeding adding PPMs. For that reason, I mixed 3 parts of both A and B to 5 parts water. Haven’t measured input every watering but with that recipe, the PPMs going in is right at 1200 PPM. 1400 is only with A and B - my tap water is around 280 PPM . Would you stick with 4/2 at 1200? Appreciate the response. Always welcome and coveted.
As long as it’s not raising your runoff ppm to much, let em eat. I hold mine around 2.0 EC or 1000 ppm, runoff numbers. In coco , that’s feeding at 1.7-1.8 every feeding with an occasional extra quart of runoff to minutely adjust ph or EC back in specs. If yours will take it, shouldn’t hurt anything. Just remember nute companies are in the business to sell you all they can, the more you use, the faster you’ll buy… I do feel there is a point of diminishing return on EC, you can have too much of a good thing . I’m running the Autopots at 1.4-1.5 EC and they are looking fine, growing like hell. As long as they are growing like these and they have the slightest bit of painted nails, I feel like I’m on the edge with EC. Easy enough to mix the next red stronger, hard to take it out once toxicity sets in….
Coming along nicely
I’m gonna try the fast track next feeding and watch. I think they will consume it to their benefit, but if I’m wrong I’ll back off the nutes going forward. Another thing; my light is ‘adequate’ for my tent with two full/healthy plants - not optimal. We will find out. Lastly, as you stated in the Low/MadamCalamity thread, silica makes the stalks tough and prone to snapping. Both plants are exhibiting that. I haven’t broke anything but when I pull them out to trim them, they feel top heavy and don’t bend easily. The plus side is they should support heavy colas easily as long as I am gentle.
Yep, as long as they aren’t so stiff the bud weights breaks them in half. I love my cages for support and going back to them with the Autopots next round. Hope they turn out amazing for you, they are headed there for sure.
Thanks brother. They are giving me joy everyday. About 6 weeks to go.
Looking good Grow Bro
Thanks for stopping by brother. Appreciate it
