Thinking about trying a FIM on the gnomo all input is welcome its a short fast plant according to breeder
Short and fast, I’d let her ride. If you top her too late, it’ll stunt her and cut your yield in half. Sooner the better for autos.
So I had never fimmed a plant before, and decided I’d try it on this gorilla glue auto. I did it on day 24. I wouldn’t bet my life I did it right, but I did what looked right according to pics I saw. Small pic is a about a week after I did it, and the bigger pic is today on day 38. It stretched a lot, and I spread it out yesterday by tying down some limbs. You make the call on your plant, but if you’re going to do it, I’d do it pretty soon.
I would have fimed her when she was smaller. This big I would let her alone.
I fimmed and supercropped this Blueberry Auto at one fell swoop here and she’s doing great. First photo immediately after. 2nd Photo is now .Hope this helps. .
Looks great. How is she smelling?
Fruity and weedy
Can’t wait to chop her… But I must wait.
People on here said fimming was actually less stressful than topping and based on doing fimming twice and topping many times, I would agree
.
How old was the plant when you fim it and supercroped it.
It was 6 nodes I think maybe 3 weeks?
Thanks may try on my next grow
Looks good!
@VirginiaGrowBoy you massaged/pinched the main stalk and bent her over…
How many weeks are you into flowering? My gorilla glue seems to be flowering very slowly. Or maybe I’m just impatient. Day 8 today.
Ok i agree with @Borderryan22 let her go for awhile before you fim it when she is taller then u can fim her i fim my plants all the time and i grow autos i fim the top and all branches and i do it twice i wait for awhile before i do it again thou
And how many flowering weeks is that?
@Dexterado you still have plenty of time left with her sometimes they stall when transitioning to flower but your looking good
