@Metallicide I keep Paracord on stock at all times. I also use zip ties to help do a Scrog aka without cutting the plant. I don’t know what you have at your house but you could use thin wire and pipe cleaners.
Good thing about us growers we get really creative and who said Stoners can’t figure it all out. 
Is that good for day 1? Due to my under filling of dirt I folded down the sides but I think I’m gonna take some scissors and trim them closer to dirt level so plant doesnt end up touching. Should I just slowly keep bending every couple days now?
Oh ya @MrPeat I have def gotten creative even starting out lol. I got a good one for ya. Not sure it worked but for a little extra humidity… lmao
@Metallicide Now that is creative. Long as the fan can suck the moisture out of the jug, you should do this to see if it’s working or not.
Get one of those humidity device that reads the RH. Check with it running the fan + water vs where you are not doing that. Best way to see if it works or not. No reason to waste money if it doesn’t work.
You can also freeze a jug of water and place it in front of a fan and it will help cool the tent down.
Cooling is no issue. My basement is like 40 degrees lol. It did raise it slightly but I snatched my daughters cool mist humidifier. My rh is about 40 and temp about 73.
We don’t have basements here and I do miss them. Now I don’t miss being from Tornado alley in the middle of the US.
They way I approach training is to do it slowly. You shock the system and it needs to be able to bounce back. Personally I would leave the bottom leaves alone. I start cutting those once the plant is well past 30 days after sprouting.
For me all leaves are critical at this point of the plants life.
This was done not long ago. I did it over a course of 1 week and the plants was already flowered.
Ya not doing any defoliation yet just slow lst. It’s my first plant so I dont wanna go overboard and not get a harvest. To me if I even get a half o or o on this I’ll be fairly happy. Learning a ton so they’ll just get better and better
Nothing wrong with that. I prefer big plants. This is the first time to even top 3 plants. One was topped 3 times and the other two only once. My last plant I didn’t do anything but a little trim job at the bottom. Makes it easier to water when your grow room is wall to wall and you can’t risk moving them due to the weight of the flowers.
Plus the bottom doesn’t get good light penetration when you have big plants. This crop will be fun. I will have to identify by smell alone when they are done. My seeds went swimming in the toilet so I don’t k ow which one is which.
Luckily for me it’s 3 Blue Dreams and 1 Peach Puree CBD. The last I don’t know if anyone has grown in. I can’t rely on taste because I had a chemical accident with Xylene. I lost a big chunk of my taste buds.
Damn sorry to hear that, wish I could taste test for ya hah! Ya when I move to photo plants I will go a lot more hardcore with topping and all that.
Well I have several testers which is good. I can at least smell some. I made one where on the green hit as we called it and he took a nice puff.
His eyes glazed over and my late mom’s bong started to fall out of his hand and he dropped over like he was dead. Scared the hell out of us. The lights was on, but no one was home. Blacked out for 1 minute.
The one buddy I want to try some can’t. He is a big shot where he makes a truckload of cash. I sent him the picture of my beasts and I can’t say the whole sentence…”Oh holy s…”

Well he bragged he smokes 1 z’s a week. So my sister said give him a real mind bender. Can’t drop the f bomb so replace it with bender. He doesn’t brag no more.
Is this looking ok? Grabbing some pipe cleaners and binder clips today l. Going to put one on base of plant to help keep it from pulling at the roots as I lst.
What you can also do is put a stake/chopstick whatever beside the plant and use a pipe cleaner or baggie tie and secure the base to the stake. Yeah those clips work rather well. I also use them as chip clips. I always try to scape the soil out from under any leaves that a touching the soil. Looking good my brother
Okay cool. Wasnt sure with the root system if I could jam a stake in there or not. Should I wait another week to start nutrients? This plant seems very sturdy. So far ilgm is smoking mephisto on ease or grow. I’m 0/2 on even germing a meph seed.

That’s very helpful. I think I’ve got the right idea on lst now for the most part. Basically keep canopy level and expose new growth sites.
