Feb 21 update: plants are growing good! Not much to report, just waiting out until they are big enough to top. I still have some time since i typically do this around day 15/16 from soil.

That is about half the time I give them. I’m usually around 28 - 30 days when they have 5 or 6 nodes.
These are all autos that I grow, so I don’t have a lot of veg time to get it done.

Feb 23 update:
All good over here. Today is going to be unseasonably warm and im trying to prep for the potential high temps in the tent today. I’m really glad that I moved the driver for my lights to outside the tent!

Feb 27: its topping day for LSD! I top as early as possible with my autos, usually around day 15/16 and when I have just enough room to put a pair of scissors above the 3rd node to make the snip. I suspect this one will be more of a fim, i had one that i topped last grow that grew 3 main colas at the topping point vs only 2.

Here are my other plants, ages 14, 13, and 12 days old. Runtz will be topped tomorrow by the look of her now.
I added a couple basil plants in the grow tent, growing from seed with FFHF soil. We shall see how that goes, I read that basil is a great complimentary plant to cannabis and can help improve the terp profile.

LSD seems to be doing ok after topping. I do get a little nervous after topping, i had a purple kush auto get stunted once and i only got 1/3oz dry from her. I’ll pull a plant out of the tent and start over if that happens again. All my other topped plants have been worth the trouble though.
3/5: plants are doing great after topping! I gave them a good watering today, still only using ph’d tap water.

21-24 days old today. They’re a little droopy but i just watered them and should perk back up. Now that they are older I’m giving them a good watering each time and going roughly 3 days in between waterings. I did give them a spritz of some foliar spray 2 days old but thats it for nutes.

3/12: Plants are 25-28 days old, so roughly 4 weeks. Starting to see pistols on all of them.
I also got a new humidifier recently. My last one had to be filled from the bottom and it used to kill my hands trying to unscrew it. I originally bought this Safety First brand because it has an app to control from anywhere but i had to return it. You cant use it unless you have a 2.4ghz wifi and we have the 5g. I switched to a Govee one with an app and i love it. Its nice to be able to use the app. My grow space is on the 3rd floor of my house and its nice to control it without having to go all the way up all those stairs!
3/14: Fed nutes for the first time today. I screwed up the math with the first batch and only fed 1/4 of FF week 4 and then I corrected it and fed 1/2 week 4 like I originally intended. This is why I can’t smoke before I water the plants lol.
