I’d like to start doing low stress training soon should I wait even longer then the third node? Just scared I will put them through to much with whatever is going on with them.
Looks like you’ve got variegation. It’s genetic and not harmful. They typically grow out of it.

Welcome to the community, are you planning on just LST or HST followed by LST training? Regardless I would wait until the 5th node. You can anchor that main on one side and bend it over the opposite direction to approximately a 90 degree angle. This will allow lighting to hit those underlying bud sites as they develop. Spread the sides out and tie them down so they’ll grow upwards between each upper branch. Think of a clock and your branches as the numbers on the clock. This will create an even canopy and a larger yield

I’m going to just do LST seeing this is my first grow but thank you for the information Iv been trying to figure out when would be the best time to start LST. I’m extremely thankful for this forum🙏🏻

If it were me, I’d let it grow taller, then top, wait for the tops to grow out, then tie the new tops down to create an even canopy. You end up with something that looks like this.

I read that it could be risky to top an auto flower? Is that wrong?

For Indicas I wait until the 6th and top above the 5th. For Sativas I top above the 4th. Always leave about a 1/4” nub above the cut, this will help prevent snapping the branch off when you LST the sides. I spread the sides out and tie them down with soft tie wire, landscaping pins for early training until the branches reach the outside of the pot and train them to grow between each upper branch. Slow growers I’ll grow natural and bend the main over so the sides can catch up. You basically want to create an even canopy for optimum light penetration on as many bud sites as possible.
