Going to order a USB microscope, however, I live 2 weeks away from everywhere.
I decide to nip off a little bud that I think might be milky and speed dry it in a little box on top of one of my lights to try and then see what happens next.
I do the same thing on top the fridge though . If it looks close then I try it and if I like it. Then wait until that coming weekend to chop it down.
Fyiā¦ people seem to have troubles with the microscope and a iPhone. Wonāt connect
I got this one last yearā¦works with my iphone fine. I also use it out in the woods for invasive insect surveys.
Iāll have to check that one out.
Funny thing is that I donāt have a phone, silly things donāt get a signal at my house. I canāt make myself spend $$ on something that wonāt work from my couch.
Iāll check and see if it is compatible with Linux.
Tried out a little nug. Seems to be some good sh!t. Gonna give it another week and try it again. Twas a bit under ripe.
When I get home from playing mechanic Iām going digital microscope shopping.
Have fun and stay safe, cool, and stoned.
Second vote for this scope, I have Android but others have confirmed it works well with Apple products.
Got one on the way.
Thatās the one I use only trouble I have is keeping it still, my age and disease make me shake.
Not so bad when wife can help hold it still.
@shadowsā¦ agreed it is a little hard to hold still. I stopped trying to do it in the tent. Now I cut a small sample and check it out with the stand on a solid surfaceā¦still can be twitchy when trying to focusā¦but can get some excellent looks at trich.
Same here. I agree, 100%. So far I have been able to find anything I need by reading through posts. Good job guys keep up the good work.
Yep, Iām way too shaky. Iāll hook it to one of my old tripods from my film camera days.
I think Newt used a mic stand to mount his scope on for tent shots.
Oddly enough my stand broke yesterday out in the fieldā¦will have to try a mic stand for the tentā¦not sure what I am going to do in the middle of the woods
As soon as I get off my lazy butt Iām going to rig my new microscope to one of my old tripods. In the meantime, this is my thinking spot where I watch the world go byā¦
Looks like a fine place to relax
Looks like a great place to hang, and beat the heat. Speaking of lazy, I am too unsteady for good close ups of the tricones. Also too lazy to use all the tripods or microscopes for the pictures. So I just wait until all of the older pistils, (hairs) dry up, and curl back against the buds. But sometimes the pistils can turn a red or brown color and fool you before they are ready. Just make sure they dried and curled up. Of course the pistils on any foxtails or bud tip will still be white.
I built my wifey a place like that 4yrs ago in the backyard minus the skeeter tent and best decision ever. Things tend to slow down once we make it to Fort Nowhere. Beautiful place my friend
