Well, it’s been a strange garden year. I had to pull my broccoli, some cabbage and lettuce that all bolted due to the 95 degree temps two weeks ago. Now, the weather is back into the 90s. This is killing me.
So, I planted some seeds for the hell of it: Beets, radishes and yes, some corn. May 31 is the last day to plant corn here – according to Clemson Ag Dept. I doubt they will make it. Please root for them. All the newbies are in the upper empty space.

The heat has been hammering me. So losing seeds after losing mature plants to bolt won’t be a big deal.

It seems like it has for everyone – no matter where we are – cold, hot, tornedos, floods – I guess the end is near. Hope I get this MJ grow in first.

90 degrees here but it feels great. First true days of summer. Great for gardens. Beans and spagetti squash broke ground today. Just planted 6 days ago! Grandkids here…first day off school for summer
