The Forbidden Grove

Thankyou!! So for most of the cannabis haters on that forum I don’t think they understand a lot of people gained and continued to grow different crops because of their love for growing cannabis :man_shrugging:t2: that’s how it went for me anyway and now I love growing any plant really

Well with all the warm weather and rain my cover crop was really starting to get tall so I decided to do a chop and drop plus clean out the entire Grove. All the ladies have had growth but with planting each one as deep as I did I would imagine it will take longer to become properly established. Hope all is well growmies !!

I’m really interested to see how these beds perform, the pot itself is trampoline mat so it’s super breathable also u only did around the edges so it would hold soil the bottom of the pots are open to the previous hole from last year, I have so many random raspberry bushes popping up through it’s ridiculous :joy: but along with that the soil doesn’t dry out because of the mulch and peat moss in the soil mix.
Almost like a large fabric pot

I bet you’re gonna have some huge plants this year.

That would be nice , they will probably get pretty big but endgame I want quality over quantity.
Should be my personal best for plant size anyway :joy::man_shrugging:t2:

I’m hoping we all can have a great harvest this season!!
Going to do another experiment using the decomposed leaf and wood layer in the woods as my potting mix, actually my wife brought home some flower seeds and asked me to start them so that’s what I used and it took less than 24 hours for the flower seeds to start popping up, not quite sure what’s making them pop so fast normally it’s atleast 48-72 hours

Well had some people back out on plants so I guess they will be mine to experiment with and then pollinate with a male :man_shrugging:t2:

Time for soil/substrate trial

First will be OG kush planted in a 5 gallon AC infinity fabric pot with 100% horse pasture dirt.

Second is going to be Lemon Jack also in 5 gallon fabric pot with 100% leaf litter compost.

Third is going to be Do si do’s 33 in a 50/50 mix of horse pasture dirt and leaf compost.

All trial ladies were mulched with dead leaves ! I have a honey cream I planted in my soil mixture with leaf compost also super cropped her today also a jack herer
Planted and layered in with some of my compost ( my compost has a very sweet smell and no longer warm?)
Maybe it’s just me but this jack herer leaf structure just looks so awesome and has jagged teeth leaves haha

Are those plants staying in those grow bags

Yes they will all stay in the grow bags that way I can isolate a male and put them all together or I could still keep them in the bags and try to harvest male pollen but I’ve never done that before haha not sure I’m experienced enough to be successful harvesting pollen

One male plant can pollinate every plant in a half mile area. No real way to isolate it outside. Even if its in your greenhouse every time you go in and out and also ventilation will still pollinate all your plants nearby.

Have you checked out the triplode mj seeds. Hsc has some some how there sterile and cannot be pollenated. Suppose to be genetically stronger against mold and decease with through the roof thc content.

If I can keep it’s under 4’ I could keep it in my grow tent indoors as it pops and try to harvest pollen that way :man_shrugging:t2:

Yes I’ve seen the advertisements for them haven’t had a chance to try them out but that would definitely be ideal for breeding outdoors !!
