Dam, I wish my soil was half that good. Nothing but clay, some is rock hard. I do plant food plots for deer, but it’s hit or miss on whether it grows or not.
As for pumpkins and watermelon, and canolope I have major issues with downy mildew. Sucks cuz having land to grow them and can’t
So I was actually watching a YouTube video lastnight after I made my rows and treated myself to some smoke haha and there was a woman basically growing in hard clay and it was possible by just the natural constant leaf litter that was acting as mulch and retaining moisture. They pulled some weeds out with literally no effort because it was basically just growing down through the cracks in the clay and not grabbing on to the soil itself. If I can find the video again I’ll tag you in it
@Dforce here is the video I was talking about, might be some really handy info for cultivating in your area.
@W.B.elpaso @plumbdand my wife bought this hanging shelf for plants, the tomatoes are loving the indoor treatment with natural light. I’d like to buy a few more and just use them for starting seeds haha

This is by far the warmest weather we have had here up in the north in quite a long time, global warming is definitely taking effect. Needless to say the ladies will be transferred to their final homes tomorrow evening after dark. Woohoo!!!
That’s pretty much what my weather will be. I Maybe putting out some this weekend
Up here we hit 15 hours of daylight this coming Sunday so it’s definitely a green light for me, normally we flip to flower the last week of July when we drop below 15 hours of light so I should be good and the ladies should not try to flower lol
Hey Man that’s some great looking temperatures I know you and @Dforce are glad to see it My blessings for your girls as they get there final home’s for the season nothing but resinous Bud’s to Harvest
Same here late July early August I start seeing the flowering stage usually around the last of September is harvest middle of October for Sativa Dominate strains
Man I hope so, I’ll be running some side by side comparisons / experiments so stay tuned!!! Also I’ve been contemplating creating a video for the grow as well on YouTube since we are legal this year…….semi legal
So this year I picked some faster flowering ladies, Honey Cream should be ready mid- September, Gorilla Cookies Fast version September as well, Runtz is also supposed to be a fast flower so we will see, the only late ones ill have should be Blue Mystic, Lemon Jack and OG Kush
Sounds good It’s not Legal here Still from lawmakers eyes! BUT God told me to grow the fruits of the Earth! But I hope we don’t have issues with pm and caterpillar it’s a battle but hopefully the product I bought called tri shield works it’s not cheap but worth every penny if it works
I have 3 sugar haze fast version plant’s I’m trying
@ADK_Guerrila Have you tried any Sour Diesel? Auto’s would be for your climate it’s just a nice Looking Plant and the smoke is supposed to be good I have 2 freebies growing but there photos and will take awhile to finish Hopefully it doesn’t frost before then
So I’ve tried sour diesel indoor before and to be honest I loved the flavor and smoke, on the other hand it definitely launched me into a heavy sativa semi racey high and I don’t like that but after it calms down it’s good, I was actually looking at running some auto’s of sour diesel or possibly if I could find a good hybrid cross.
Awe okay I understand about the racey part but different strains effect people different ways I like the tranquil dreamy type of buzz OG Kush is a good one you have it will produce some fat Bud’s and it’s a Hardy Plant
I’m enjoying the information about growing outdoors in the North. This is my second try, last year was an abort due to cold weather. This year it will be four autos and an attempt at reveg of a recently harvested Hella Jelly. I am very pleased with Mn weather this year, my girls have been in their outdoor pots for a week now.
That’s what I am counting on too, with zone pushing some of my fruit trees. Mainly avocados and citrus.
I meant to ask where everybody is from?
I am in a suburban lot about 30 min north of Seattle. Double lot thanks to a creek and floodplain.
