Alright alright alright yall here we are kicking off round 3 this go around ive switched over to the dark side of coco lol ill be running 3 plants in coco im using GROW!T coco it comes pre washed and buffered with micronutrients its good coco! lol ill also be mixing in about 30% perlite and ill be running that good oh Jacks 321 for nutrients and Extreme Gardens MykosWP this round ill be growing Cherry Pie fem photo from ilgm and also a Pineapple Chunk x Amnesia blue headband fem photo from another breeder I will also be doing a Purple Funky Haze Auto from the same breeder the 2 photoperiod girls will be going into the 4x2 in the 2 pot AutoPot system with a 12 gallon reservoir with the auqua5 values im running the 3.9 gallon pots from auto pot and a 3 gallon fabric bag from ac infinity for the auto she will reside in the 3x3 tent so far ive germinated the 2 photos they are now in there solo cups with domes for humidity once they pop out of the coco I will remove the domes the auto is still in water and will be put into a paper towel tonight sense I decided last minute to do a auto as well lol also ill be running 2 viparspectra P2000 in the 4x2 which will be a solid 400w of power ill probably only run 300w and my HLG 260w xl is going in the 3x3 this time I know ill forget people so mention anyone you’d like the more the better I always enjoy everyone @MadamCalamity @Low @Nicky @Not2SureYet @Chasfitter @MattyBear @Covertgrower @JaneQP @HMGRWN @AL_GREEN like I said I know ive probably forgot a few so tag who you’d think would enjoy watching

Cool, I am on board. I like that coco. We haven’t been able to get it here for over a year.

@Nicky @Not2SureYet my biggest question/concern is how do you add nutrients into the reservoir or top it off do you add water into the rez then add nutes and mix in the rez or do you make your solution in a bucket then add to the rez id appreciate any pointers
Empty your rez before filling again or make the nutrients by the bucket top it off.
I often times fill the rez, take some water out for 2 separate containers. If you are using silica add it here and mix. Then… Mix part a and epsom in one container add to res and mix. Then repeat with part b. Then pH.
Easy to do with a couple mason jars.
I’m installing a quick disconnect at the rez so I think my best bet will be to let the rest empty clean it out then fill rez with ro water then mix up nutes in the rez ph it and re connect the rez it sound about the easiest lol also i wont be using silica this go just Jacks 321 and MykosWP by extreme gardening
Right on. You could probably get away with cleaning the res once a month or 6 weeks utilizing RO. I’ve gone up to 2 months with dechlorinated tap, lots of calcium build up but no harm done. Then clean out hoses between grows or every couple of months. You can always drain the end of the nutes in the bucket to make a fresh full rez, and pour that back in when it drops.

Do you think it would be smart to top feed the MykosWP once a week rather than putting it into the rez because it doesn’t actually fully mix and it settles fairly quickly in a gallon jug of water so I imagine it would do the same in the rez and gunk up the lines
So that I don’t have a good answer for. Autopots push salts to the top of the medium. Top feeding pushes the salts back to the roots. I’d consider a small secondary rez that would be used for microbial feedings/anything other than jacks. Connected to same main hose with valves. That way on the day(s) you want to introduce any of that you can turn off the main res and allow that one to flow through, turn off, turn on main rez to help flush those lines. I wouldn’t introduce anything organic to the primary res. pH adjustments won’t do any of that stuff any good.
