That Bunny was vicious

Okay I came here earlier with an autoflower question. I have a small grow going. One Durban Poison and a Biscotti from seed I bought here and the aformentioned autoflower. This isn’t the first grow for me and I have kind of laid low with the grows but with the autoflower question I had brought me back to where we get to show off grows.

So here are the three plants. The Durban Poison now and the Biscotti before and after a baby bunny decided to fell it at the top of the soil. I found it approximately an hour after it happened. My first inclination was to try to reattach the root ball but bunny did a thorough job. I trimmed it and put it in water. It revived to stand but never seemed to push a root out. Knowing time is running out for me with this photoperiod plant, I put her in coco coir with a bit of soil mixed in. I kept it moist and in a dixie cup. about 5 days ago I planted that dixie cup after cutting lots of ways fot the root to escape if they ever do.

These first pictures are today.

These two are of the Biscotti and the Durban the day I transplanted them. The first one is the Biscotti.

It was actually just slightly taller than the Durban at the time and the folliage was just nice. I had just transplanted them from a different location in the yard to the very sunny all day location. Even better now that our neighbor removed the trees along our fence line.

Looking good. My dog ate a plant down to just the meristem once. Still harvested over 14 oz on it.

What doesn’t kill them only makes them stronger and more able to handle the weight

Thought I would put an update on the Bunny Ravaged Biscotti. She is actually showing signs of growing again. I think she has gained 1/2 inch since I put her in the raised bed.

My other two plants the Durban Poison and Amnesia Haze Autoflower are doing good and look very healthy. I have started to train the Durban Poison into a 45 degree lean northwest to keep her belly open to the sun. My neighbor recently removed a wall of tall bamboo in her yard opening up my yard for later afternoon sun. I truly hope this Biscotti gives me a few buds to smoke.

I will say that she has finally turned the corner for me. That bunny set this Biscotti back more than a month. Just to let you know why you still see the cup rim. I only sliced it open with about 9 slashes down and I cut the very bottom of the Dixie cup. I didn’t want to disturb what root had started before I planted her back outside. She is in a great place in my garden. Just about the sunniest spot.

I thought I had no chance but… never give up. Never surrender.

The other two plants are doing great. Amnezia Haze Autoflower and Durban Poison.

I have started training the Durban to lean back uphill towards the Northwest. I will get to do some of that with the branches as the grow.

It has been a few weeks and here is an update on this viciously attacked Biscotti. While she had me worried, I think I see a very healthy plant. She is in a very nice spot in the yard. I also really love seeing the deep Indica roots to this strain. I will certainly grow another next year.

The Durban Poison has all the makings of a very nice healthy plant as well.

So an update. About a week ago the Biscotti began to flower. She has grown substantially. No guarantees but I am looking at a pretty good havest if all continues.

In comparison my Durban Poison next to her.
