Are you up for a visit? Mrs. Daisy will be shopping in the Mall.
Near that camera that got me, last trip.
The Afghan hanging will be ready for jar and sharing.
Still needs cure or cook.
Plus, I have no room for a couple of bag seed solo cup seedlings.
Just an idea.

Bugs from somewhere.
Anybody know what kind?
More JDB soon arriving.
Pure crop on Thursday.

$50.00 for JBD and chemical sprays.

Couldn’t purchase napalm, but considering.

Marks on leaves look like Spider Mites damage. Those pasty lil’bastatds are a pain.

Words from “Alice’s Restaurant” I wanna kill, kill, kill… them spider mites.
I have pictures of dead ones, now. Ran out of JDB.
More coming from Wallsworld (free delivery if buying plenty).

Dec 1, 15, and 31, I started some home grown seeds from 2022 or 2023 (with seeds from @noddykitty1 or my plants, from ILGM).
They are the plants I have sprayed, as a priority. When the chemicals arrive, I will spray actively. Didn’t have ladybugs for this grow.
Then a second campaign using PureCrop.
I have, but am afraid to use the neem oil concentrate or commercial neem mixed foliar spray.

Thanks for the input.

Tag. Got a beautiful photo fem ILGM Hindu Kush plant back from diverdave. He ran out of room in his tent. I am going to flower it out in the greenhouse.

@DEEPDIVERDAVE, what was the second plant? The one that need to finish flowering. Was that one of the afghan autos?

Also, what was the couple of ounces gift, was it the afghan autos.? If you said I was high and forgot lol.

And for fun I dropped one of the random seedlings from your seeds Dave. Into the Axolotl tank. Washed off all the soil and going to let it go hydro fed by Axolotl poo. This is fun to se what happens.

Yes, the half flowered (I hung the other half) was ILGM Afghan Auto from your 10/7/24 seed drop (as was the Hindu Kush).

The jars were cured weed from current mixed with cured weed from previous harvests. The Hindu Kush from your 10-7 seed drop are being flipped while providing habitat for the Predators and Ladybugs.

I need a taste tester for the weed (how am I doing?).
Secondly with your new greenhouse, having different plants will show you different results (My contribution to learning).

My remaining Afghan Auto at 32 days in the soil, in tent, and showing pistils. Like the plants sharing the tent, they like the soil mix for now.
My last soil was not FFHF, but probably was me that messed up.
Not flipped because with this snow, I need the heat.
Lights are on 16/8.

The Afghan Auto, needed to be small enough to transport inside the storage bin. I hope you can enjoy growing her. The predator mites may be useful.
The ladybugs arrived when i returned home.

@noddykitty1

She was too close to the light.
Maybe she will like the dirt cup life.
Snowing here and cold in the lung room.

Temps dropping and humidity rising.
Keep warm

All four ILGM Hindu Kush (remaining) are fully flipped (showing pistils). Lights 12.5/11.5. HLG 260D and Vipar Spectra R900 (260 & 400 wall watts).

Recent forum reading recommended “flower trim” after “flip & stretch”.
I used "plant benders on one, opening her up and removing much useless growth. She is into overdrive with pistils and takes 1/3 of the 4x4. Running out of room, again. the remaining three need serious trim.

PNW Seattle weather going colder for this up-coming week.
Predicted temp F=Twenty degrees colder than now.

Snowing again here. What about you?

Thursday snowed, not since.
Coming they said.

Just cold for the next week up here, maybe snow after that.

Ha! As I look out the window, I can see a couple small flakes wafting around! I hate this weather, sux taking the dog out trying to have a puff, sux getting up to a cold house, sux scraping the car windows, the cold just sux!

And worst part about the cold, the plants HATE it! Really slow growth growing on right now.

Growing Afghan Autoflower Seeds

Afghan autoflower plants are easy to grow indoors and out. The plants remain compact, averaging slightly less than two feet tall. Despite their small size, however, these Cannabis seeds still produce a reasonable amount of bud per plant. This marijuana’s connection to original, wild Cannabis plants makes it a resilient and adaptable plant. Its autoflower feminized genetics only improve that.

Whether you grow outside or indoors, expect a harvest after about eight weeks. Like all autoflowering strains, autoflowering Afghan marijuana doesn’t require specific light cycles to grow. These automatic flowering plants also grow from feminized seeds, so you don’t need to worry about wasting your time with strains that don’t produce flowers. Finally, for best results, read our germination instructions to make the most of your Afghan seeds.

Though the plants stay small, Afghan auto can still get bushy. Keep an eye on your Cannabis plants’ undergrowth, and consider a light trim if they look like they’re too thick down below. However, as many Afghan Autoflower strain reviews show, autoflower strains don’t respond well to high-stress training since they don’t have time to recover before flowering. Instead, give your marijuana plants plenty of light and nutrients and keep airflow steady to avoid any pest problems.

Preferred Climate

These Cannabis seeds perform best indoors. However, if you choose to grow outside, Afghani Cannabis does best in moderate climates and moderate humidity. Remember, Afghani weed is a Hindu Kush that’s native to the Hindu mountains. That makes it more cold-hardy than sativa strains, though it still should be kept above 55 degrees Fahrenheit at night and harvest plants before the frost falls.

Feeding Afghan Autoflower

Afghan Autoflower responds well to nutrients. Visit our nutrient section for the right plant food for every grow stage.

We recommend giving your marijuana plants:

Flowering and Yield

Growers will be delighted by the Afghan strain’s low-maintenance yield and reliable flowering period. In 10 to 14 weeks, you’ll have up to fifteen ounces of bud per square yard of plant. Outdoors, you can expect five to six ounces of bud per Cannabis plant. Either way, expect potent, sticky buds full of trichomes.

Experiencing the Afghan Strain

Afghan Cannabis is a favorite of many indica lovers, and for a good reason. These plants are pure indica, and they’re potent, too. That makes them an excellent choice for people looking for the laidback, muscle-relaxing high of indica without the jittery effect of sativa strains.

Many users report that this indica strain provides a euphoria effect and a happy head high that’s quickly balanced by its delicious, enduring body buzz. You won’t necessarily be couch-locked, but you’ll definitely be relaxed and feel great. Since the sweet body buzz is much stronger than the mental effect, it’s a great choice if you need to get things done without having to move much.

For some, Afghan weed can be quite potent. Overindulging in the strain can lead to occasional, rare adverse reactions, like mild dizziness, dry eyes and mouth, and occasional headaches. Many people will also experience the munchies, so have some snacks nearby ready to go.

Afghan Smell and Taste

If you’ve ever experienced good hash, then the smell of Afghan weed will immediately be familiar. The immediate impression is a strong, fragrant earthiness with herbal undertones. You may also notice some mild floral sweetness to balance it out. Meanwhile, the sweet, earthy flavor is smooth and rarely causes a cough.

Expect a creamy, earthy, and woodsy inhale. As you spend time with the strain, the herbal notes and sweet earthiness will continue to come out, as will just a hint of spice on the exhale.

Uses for Afghan Autoflower

When it comes to therapeutic use, Afghan is a popular weed strain. This is because its a powerful indica. indica and indica dominant strains are an excellent choice for anyone who faces chronic pain or discomfort, and Afghan Cannabis is no different. Those who suffer from long-time, persistent pain benefit greatly from its pain managing effects. This marijuana strain can also relax tight muscles and reduce inflammation that leads to aches and pains, causing many with arthritis or tension headaches to swear by its use.

Afghan weed can also help with insomnia, making it easier to fall asleep because your body is relaxed, and your mind is at ease. The gentle bliss offered by this autoflowering indica can reduce anxiety and distract from unhappy thoughts. Instead of worrying and stressing about things, you focus on what really matters: relaxing and potentially getting a good night’s sleep.
