See you then.

The little seedlings @noddykitty1 started have journeyed to their new home.
The ILGM Hindu Kush and Afghan seeds started last month look awesome.
A month without growing, was terrible with withdrawals for me.
Words of praise and thanks.
Never have I seen nicer little “ladies in solo-soil-cups”.
They all easily departed the cups, perfectly, for new big dirt homes.

HK’s got 3-gal bags of KIS-Water only soil.

Added additional perlite (soil should resist compaction).
Hole is dusted with “Bigfoot Mychorrhizal Fungi” (Magic Dust?).
Afghan Autos got 5-gal bags and same soil treatments.
Ran out of soil and bags, for today.
Introduced the ladies to tent life.

HK’s in 3-gal bags and Afghan Autos in the 5-gal bags.
Introducing them the HLG 350R and AC-Infinity

Thanks!

Update since up-planting into bags.
Five of twelve have “adjusted” well to their new homes.
Two are in my clone/seedling tent with 73% RH and 72F.
Three in flower tent looking good.
Others show transplant shock and are expected to recover, I hope.
All have similar soils with adds.

Looking good Dave. Have you had enough rain yet?

Deep Diving available soon

Tent lights just came on 20/4.
More, looking good as in recovered from Transplant Shock evolution
Rain or snow in the forecasts.

Just took one of the “laggers” who still have not “adjusted” to the tent life.

Of the 12 clones, only 5 remain “adjusting” to transplant and tent life
White sticks mark adjusted and growing well.
Used one for watering to “runoff” (testing newly mixed soils used for all).
In 6.35/900 out measured 7.2PH and 2500PPM.
Measured candidate placed into 2x2 tent with 150 watts China-Cheapie.
One Lone DDD seedling survived the month outdoors and untended during my travels East, moved to flower tent (currently 20/4, 800PPFD/57DLI@ 22inches above).

11-15-2024
Afghan Auto (2-Sticks) watered fully to first run-off.

KIS Water only soil with perlite and other adds.
1 gallon
Water IN 6.4/500
Water out 7.2/2500
Reasonable for first time measure of bagged soil & my mixed adds in use.
Candidate chosen was showing no signs of distress, as of11/15/2024
Tent Left side.
Seeded NK1 10/7, arrived here 11/7
Up-planted from solo-cup to 5-gal bag., took 3-days to recover.

You know that random seedling survivor will be your best this run.

Yes, and my luck, a male.
What fun.
I do like short flowers.

I mined for 2024 seeds and then cleaned for Kief mining.
Your shared plants too

11/18/2024.
Viewing the Afghan Autos today.
Two have started to flower, I do believe.
I am impressed, beginning week six including re-home transport and new soil up=planting from sol cups.

“Flower” tent pictured, above.
Moved some into tent#2 and started tent with Vipar Spectra R900
(Old light (China cheapie) purchased before finding forum.

Another candidate got watering to run-off and measuring.
IN water PH 6.0 PPM 500
OUT collected PH 7.0 or above PPM 2200.

Not sure what accounts for the difference.
They are growing and looking good.
We survived the “Bomb Cyclone” storm of last night.
Another coming on Friday.

All the ILGM Afghan Autos look to be in flower.
Oct 3 to Nov 20
7 weeks from seed.
2-weeks in tent with 20/4
Impressed and happy, I am.

We still don’t have power. They are saying Sunday maybe now. Ha, after the next wind bomb. The good news is the greenhouse is still standing strong. I see a lot of damaged greenhouses around the neighborhood.

I have a large stack of firewood and a portable generator and coffee and weed. All set for the next storm.

Hot water is gas. Works even if the lights are out. Those that are on electric fast water are enjoying cold showers right now. My utility district is offering almost free hot water tanks if you switch from gas to electric. And at the same time “sin” taxing gas tanks at the hardware stores. I am sticking w gas. We loose power a few times each winter. Too many trees in the evergreen state to not loose a few power lines every time the wind gets going.

Another storm passing thru tonight 4-8AM, maybe, Island time.
Generator fueled and tested good.

Hopefully, We are putting the East Coast fires out, as we turn the globe and pass the weather off to the East.

Prayers and be safe.
