I feel a dark period is important regardless of being an auto or photoperiod.
Indeed i alway give 48 hrs of darkness to my photos. Much help thanks again @Covertgrower
@SKORPION I ha e super skunk autos to my man it’s a good strain up there on my list top five say
Ohh skunky stuff, I’m interested in doing this in the future myself.
I made a long post the other day @Covertgrower may remember it, sorry I didn’t tag you @SKORPION I should have.
To quickly summerize there is a bit of scattered data out there that does make a decent case for 48hr darkness before harvest as well as harvesting in the dark (open your tent snip the main trunk and get it chopped in under 2min is the recommendation)
One thing I did bookmark was this test.
Now it’s just one users experiment but combined with other information you can dig up it’s worth it.
Ps I also agree that autos and phots need darkness, even when growing you should shoot for a 20/4 cycle max but if you can boost your DLI darkness does help.
Autos still have photo genetics in them, photos build tricombs at night and off grass as night.
