I have noticed that once they get a little bigger they do drink more water then other plants. Thanks man will let ya know in a week

Ok I have a Silica Question for anyone …
This is what I got,

Ok… I’m using Jack’s 321 for one plant and FF Trio for another… Will adding the silica make for a harder LST/HST due to it making the stems harder/sturdier? Will they snap easier… I do pinch and roll smash to get the bend i need but if this is gonna make them not able to … or split when i train? Idk… thinking adding this and now seems like a dam Fear of sorts of messing with a good thing… any way… I just made a 5 gal bucket of Jack’s with 10ml of silica and added to my Pepper and Potato plants
These have only been fed Jack’s 321 and have thrived same with Tomatos, cucumber, squash. IF they do better and not have problems then I’ll use the 1 gallon I kep to the side for the one girl that gets the Jack’s…
I have not yet gotten the Fulvic yet, trying to learn enough to know why it should be added…

It seems to be almost the same thing as GH armorsi. Thats what I use, for now. I use it on my one just water night along with my humic acid, I just mix in 5ml of silica and 5ml of humic acid per gallon of water, silica first mix, let sit for a minute and then the humic mix and then ph. I do this so im not running pure water through my coco, but like to give them one day of no “nutrients”.

Thanks @CoyoteCody! I’ve read alot of people add it, I’ve been looking at coco but still in ffof for now. I beat mine up pretty good to get them to fill the scrog, making sure from others so I don’t end up with snapping the 90° bends…I have nowhere for clones so it’d be a waste all around

no problem!! And your plants are looking good my friend!!

Sound great! Mine is just the Super Skunk this time, whenever the next one is will be a mix of what i can find i. The seed drawer. Lol

This what @MidwestGuy told me when I asked about silica “I start adding silica once I am more than halfway into the stretch. Silica really does harden up plant structure and I don’t want to use it before I am finished training the plant. It’s difficult to train a plant that is too rigid without splitting nodes, etc.”

That’s what I’ve been looking for! Thank you @beardless, kinda where I was leaning towards… I thought it might be too early… Because of how I train them… so I will hold off on the 2 for the scrog and just give it to the one free stander I Fimed the other day and see what happens… shes gonna be the Ginnypig for few different things…lol

I first used it my last grow. Didn’t make the decision until late so it was week 6 of flower when I started. Was only able to add 3 times. This time around will be able to start earlier. The product I use is Bloom City Silica Boost 0-0-1 from potassium silicate. Application rate of 5 ml / gallon during bloom.

weird too…

ANyway , New fan came in, so that’ll going tomorrow … a Infinity S6. ill use the one on the filter for an intake… Hopefully this will take care for the heat problems of past!!
New Fan

should be better 403cfm.
Had to do it! :upside_down_face:

The one in front is the FIMED one, but I don’t know if its is or not, looks like there something going on up there…Ill get a better pic of that one tomorrow.
had a gallon mixed with the silica/ reg Jacks 321 minus the fulvic… fed half to other things and refilled the gallon with ph 6.5 …130 tds water and gave an outside ring around them all – i would assume the amount of Anything was min in it… so well see. But if anyone can tell if the FIM took let me know…

Day 18 from transplant…

Ok… I think the Fim was a success!

got the 4 tops I think…
The one in the back is 22" from the ground level needed to touch the scrog… So it was time to either Top or …Try fimming again…

I chose the Latter…It got Fimed too!
Thought it would be easier for me to train in a scrog with 4 mains… I know it makes them Bush more than usuall, but hoping for the best… the entire grow is one big experiment…fingers crossed!

Still NO Nutes yet…
