I like to leave my leafs. I do what you are doing currently and bend leafs out of the way.

The taller one topped only once. Looks to have 2 main colas and a few sticking out from the sides. @bob31 happy b day!

Question. Both autos are about 4 weeks into flower. One is taking in water fine. The other not as much. It’s a bit shorter and had a few stem splits this week. the pot has been moist for days now and it’s 85 and sunny. I’ve read leave it be and go at its own pace. But the planter is pretty warm. Starting to worry about root issues. Should I do a flush? Maybe get out any build up. @Majiktoker @Hogmaster @bob31 @Jmesser80
They actually look really healthy in my opinion if it’s still wet I don’t need no water let it dry itself out but I think you should be fine they’re beautiful from what I can see on the pictures

I agree with @Hogmaster. I am currently growing 2 autos outdoors as well and mine seem to be doing the same as yours as far as one is sucking the water right up and the other isn’t but both seem healthy so I just water them when each of them needs it. (Usualy a few days apart.)
They look healthy So I would just roll with it.
